 I have posted this question immediately after reading the sunday morning newspaper where i saw in the sports page that ''Sachin is Warne's greatest''. Yes, this has been published in 'The Times' in UK i believe. He ranks Brian Lara at 2 & Curtly Ambrose at 3. Now the reason why i have posted it is to tell some of you which say a lot of bad things about Sachin (like old player, not a big match player, selfish for records) that this is the truth. This is called respect. Shane Warne perhaps the greatest bowler ever says that the reason he puts Tendulkar at number 1 is his ability to cope with pressure. He said he handles pressure of billions better than anyone else which is the toughest thing in any game. That's exactly why not only in Spin King - Warne's eyes but in my eyes too he ( Sachin) will always remain the greatest batsman after Sir Don of course. What are your thoughts on that?  Please answer honestly without being prejudiced.We all know Sachin tendulkar is the best batsman the world has ever seen(i wud rather say he is ahead of bradman).But i feel he hasnt been a match winner like sanath jayasuriya in the recent past(ODIs only).In most of the ODI matches if sachin scores over hundred India tends to lose.I've noticed that.I cant remember most by names but australia in india in 1998 comes to my mind specially. But on the other hand whenever jayasuriya scores over 75 there is a big chance for sri lanka to win.He has been a real match winner and whenever he scores a century sri lanka wins.(i hardly remember any match that sri lanka lost when he scored a 100) + he is a handy partime bowler and has helped SL's victory in bowling.So what do u think? Come on roopa.In most of the matches that jayasuriya made sri lanka to win by scoring over 75 the rest of the guys hadnt done much at all.Its all jayasuriya with the bat and ball(check from cricinfo.com).So u cant say that when jayasuriya does well others also do well.Actually most of the time when he does well he had carried everything to the end without giving up. ...

 Mumbai people and Sachin fans pardon me. I am a keen supporter of the Indian team since my childhood in 1980's. I liked him as a batsman in his early days as well. But what disappoints me is his approach to the game. He was more consistant in the past but he is always unpredictable (ever, even in his peak time), its true that I am concerned about 'he' because he is very important. Even I would dare to say that he is a natural player 'who understand the game very poor - he always depend upon his flow rather than the situations, upto his potential. For me the captaincy of Saurav Ganguly was the time I had immence hope in the team (though I never liked his batting style, as an international player he has too much 'weakness' as you know). NOW, Sachin is a burden along with other big names like Shewag, Kaif etc.. as a result of the comfort of being in the Indian Team. Its heard that he impose undue influence in the team using his seniority and records. India should learn from Aus. ...

 I dont understand, Sachin gets out in atleast 25% innings coz of Poor umpiring. LBWs, Caught Behinds - Whenever an umpire goes wrong - even if it is once.. even if the Umpire is Steve Bucknor or Aleem Dar - Sachin is the victim.. But why? ...

 i think sachin is going through a very bad phase so he is not scoring well and i have complete faith in sachin that he will bounce back.....what u think guys?? ...
