 I've just read in an Oxford dictionary this sentence: ....I was not welcome AT the meeting. With the verb one says "They WELCOMED me TO the meeting." Why should one change the preposition and use AT when using the adjective WELCOME??? Can anyone tell me what is the best use of these two prepositions combined with WELCOME(adjective) and WELCOME (verb) ? I'm sorry but now I'm totally confused!!! Thanks a lot. I never heard about that (i did hear about the Welcome Letter that new L.P.R .get). It says tht my immigrant visa packet from the P.o.E. arrived at the USCIS -office . I already have the I-1551 Sticker (serves as a LPR-Card for 1 year in my passport). Does that mean my "plastic"LPR-Card arrives soon ?Because the letter also says that i should hear from the USCIS in the next 30 days. Sorry for my lame english (I am german). ...
