  Hi, i hav been playing guitar for more than 4 years now, i hav great fingerstyle, i play rock and roll, i can play fast, and im actually beyond standard(as my teacher says to mi dad) I just hav one problem...... whenever my guitar teacher asks me to guitar solo, i go along with it(im pretty shy,) and he starts playing a beat on his beat machine, and he also plays like an A chord... But when he says start soloing, i just totally freez up cause im nervous and i hav no idea what im doing... I no the scales, but it just seems that it duzn't sound rite, and i start sweating and my eyes tear, and i just play like a 2 year old and then all the sudden i suck..... I just need some teqnique so i can feel more confident... PLEASE HELP?? ...

  I'm about to take a week long jazz camp and i need to audition with something that will show my skill. Something that i can do by myself... maybe fingerstyle? I don't know. If anyone has any suggestions i'd love to hear them. ...

  Ok, here's my situation: I have mastered all the techniques, slapping, popping, tapping, double-stopping, fingerstyle, yadda yadda, and now am at a point where I don't know what to do to get to the next level. I have jammed with other musicians, and found it estremly fun, but still want to start soloing. But every time I look for a good complex solo, and find a tab, they just are far too difficult. Anyone have any suggestions for what I should do? P.S. Please don't reply with quit the bass and take up guitar, for I love bass, and wish to stick with it. P.P.S. Please also don't reply with the Awakening, or Anethesia --(Pulling Teeth,) they sound good, and I can play them, but they're just too easy. ...
