 I've been using Yahoo for a long time. So, I'm changing my picture (my personal avatar picture) to a different picture, and suddenly, it won't change to the new picture i've selected! It appears to be stuck on the previous picture, and won't change! Then....the picture goes BLACK! I cannot get it to be anything but a black square where my photo used to be. I even tried changing it to one of the default pictures in Yahoo. Nope. Here is what I have tried: Deleted pictures in my "list" and rechose them again from my computer files. (still black) Restarted my computer.(still black) Uninstalled Yahoo, went to website, downloaded new version, reinstalled yahoo messenger. (nope...still black) Went to Yahoo Help and read about others with the same problem, and saw that the help offerred was of no help to them. (nor to me) Checked the Preferences to make sure that 'Enable Display Images' is enabled. It is. Checked to make sure computer is plugged in. It is. (lol jk) ANY ideas?? THANKS!!!!  The pictures show in the message as attachments. I have two different accounts. One will let me right-click on the attachment and save the picture in it's correct format and size. The other account will only save it as a thumbnail, or "tn". I looked at all the settings and they appear to be the same for each account. If I forward the mail from the one account to the other, I can save the image properly. I have been looking for an answer and so far haven't seen any explanations or resolutions. I joined several groups and they are sending a pictures but ,when i want to save it: 1-right click 2-save as 3-it gives me adifferent name than it showing in my attachment . like the picture is named 1.jpg when i save it it showing other name (tn). It used to be very easy to save: right click on thumbnail, and select "save picture as" and a menu pop up and it will prompt the original file name for saving confirmation. Click OK, and the actual file SIZE is saved. ...
