  I'm been studying guitar for about a week now and I know the basics. I think I'm ready to learn my first song I just don't any easy song to learn. Please don't answer old songs like stairway to heaven or anything like it. I really like punk rock or acoustic versions of rock songs. I prefer to learn chords first and struming patterns before doing anything more complicated I actualy prefer to learn the whole song not just a part of it. I don't like tabs as a beginer I prefer chords with easy strumming paterns ...

  ive been focusing more on learning acoustic guitar recently i ve learned nothing else matters by metallica, stairway to heaven (whole song except solo), and love song by tesla just to name a few and i can play them all the way through with little mistakes so... can anyone reccomend some songs along these lines that arent insanely difficult but still sound good (im trying to build a repetroire of songs that can demonstrate my skills) preferably classic rock or acoustic versions of heavier songs ...
