 Hi whilst driving my 2003 renault megane yesterday,a messege flashed up saying Change oil soon.I checked my oil,and its between the max and min mark.So i called Renault and they said it needs a oil and filter change.Im just wondering whether as Renault are pricey,if i would be better taking it too any garage.But i will need the messege to be reset after.What do you think? And how much would this cost at Renault? Thanks ...

 Im doing a final year University dissertation based on French car manufacturer Renault, and have come across a recent article which claims that in 2000, Renault purchased Korea's Samsung, who used to produce cars based on Nissan's design. Is this the same Samsung that now make tv's, phones etc.. or is Renault Samsung something completely different? Thanks ...

 I have a Renault Megane 1.4 petrol engine. Recently my car has developed a starting problem, when you turn the key the starter motor will either rotate normally, rotate slowly, won't turn at all and you hear the solenoid go click or rotate normally and slow down and stop. If you keep turning the key on and off you can coax the starter motor to turn. I have had a new battery, starter motor and I have cleaned all the earth connections to the chassis of the car, I have also measured the battery voltage and started the car with the headlights on to see if the battery was coping, which it was. has anyone out there had a similar experience and help shed some light on what may be the cause of the problem other than it's French or it has a Renault badge on it. the alternator also squeals for a short while after starting but the battery is charging though. I would be really greatful for any useful suggestions ...

 I have a problem with a renault grand scenic 1500 dci 2005 model with just over 12k on clock.The problem is when driving up hill or with accerlerator pedal to floor for 20 seconds the injection warning light is on but after easing of for 2 minits it go's off???.I have noticed air returning from disel pump but not going to pump down fuel line aslo when warning light is on black smoke streams out the exhaust but not being used out of engine...This car was accident damaged and cannot go into dealers as part of a court case the case is to be heard feb 2007 and i do not whant to cause any more damage AS ANY ONE AN IDEA TO PROBLEM ...
