 I am in manhattan, HBO is 201, than HBO2 HBO-S HBO-F HBO-C HBO-Z HBO-L. Someone I know upstate (in Ithaca, New York) is also a Time Warner customer. For him, HBO starts at 301 (not 201, like mine). He gets the same channels as I do, except for each channel he ALSO gets the western feed (ie. HBO-W HBO-SW HBO-CW HBO-ZW and HBO-LW). ..which is really just a bit annoying cause I don't get those channels. Anybody have any idea why? ...

 Showtime has two welterweight title bouts featuring Antonio Margarito vs. Joshua Clottey and Miguel Cotto vs. Carlos Quintana. HBO has Winky Wright vs. Ike Quartey in a Middleweight rumble and a comebacking Jeff Lacy on the undercard. Do you think that by having these fights on the same night that HBO & Showtime cut each other's throat? I know they like competing against each other but to me it does not make good buisness sense.  Does HBO buy movies and then just replay them and get money for it or do the movie companies loan them movies and they get royalties or something, or does HBO ask to use the movies and HBO gives the movie studios a certain amount per showing or what not, just curious as to how they work.  The other night before the Sopranos i saw a preview on HBO for a new show called "John From Cinncinnati". The short preview was a guy putting a surfboard into the back of his suv, then he looks down at his feet, and he's floating about 1ft above the ground, and he looks confused by this...that was it. The preview/teaser grabbed my interest. I can't really find anything on hbo.com about the show.  Does any one know if there will a 3rd season of Rome on HBO? As far as I know they stopped making them becuase they were to expensive. So, is it really true its over forever??? What about a movie is there a chance for that? I checked out the Rome website...it said it was over. But the show did give its viewers hope that there might be more in the future.
