 My flower horn fish is unwell. It lyes flat on the surface without swimming. It shows some freaky movements. Blood circulation is proper and eyes have not turned white. But it is not active lying down and Just breathing and Drinking Water. What can be done to solve this and why did this happem Thank you Guys for your help, But Unfortunately My fish expired.  my flower horn fish is in a 15gal tank by itself and it just layed yellow eggs. i repeat,it is alone,no other fish with it. will the eggs hatch? how do i take care of the eggs? how do i take care of the fry when they hatch? what would the fry it? should i seperate the fry with the mother or leave it there? my flower horn fish is between 2-3 years old. never have i added other fish with it. i feed it pellets but sometimes live shrimp and worms(the brown ones which feed with wood strips). i am sure those are eggs because i never fed it other food than pellets for about 2 weeks. ...

 I currently have 3 tanks, one tank for my two tiger oscars, one tank for my albino oscar, and one tank for my flower horn fish, and we are purchasing a salt water tank from a friend, my husband said we need to go down to 2 tanks only. So I have to get rid of my oscar fish and my flower horn. I am soo bummed! My oscar fish is the coolest fish ever. Is it totally lame for me to be attached to my fish? Oscar fish are one of the smartest fish in the world. Someone is coming by to take him tomorrow. Is it silly that I am bummed out that I have to give him up? I really like oscars though, they are so rad. They are happy to see you. If I am in the kitchen he is facing the kitchen swimming around happily, if I go towards the kitchen table, he faces that way as well and starts swimming around happily. And watching oscars eat, is awesome! I bring them home fish from the fish store about once or twice a month and they eat them in one gulp! It is really cool. Saltwater fish are just there, you know? They arent very interesting. I cant put him with the other oscars, he originally was in that tank, but they started picking on the poor guy. So I had to get another tank just for him. =( ...
