 Was ALADDIN written by Chinese or Arabs? All my life i was told that Aladdin was a part of Arabian Nights, and was written by people of middle east or India but recently on wikipedia i saw that Aladdin was written by the Chinese, which makes no sense to me and i even watched the 2000 abc channel movie Arabian Nights and they showed Aladdin portrayed by a Chinese guy which kinda took the Aladdin element out of the story, Not that i have anything against Chinese people, its just Aladdin is suppose to be an arab a tan guy not chinese right? ...

 Our local theatre is performing Aladdin and this year I have volunteered to help out with costumes. We have just about every costume except for Aladdin's before he becomes Prince Ali. We aren't really quite sure how to even make the costume and have looked at all sorts of places to buy them, none have been helpful. Links and pictures would be great. The basic outline is a blue/purple vest and white pants with red trim near the stomach. If at all anyone could even find or give instructions on how to make the costume that would be great too.  I purchased a 66 Aladdin last week. I have been searching for the wire to hook the 12v battery up to yet they seem to be non existent. The guy that owned the trailer before us added some 12v lights to the trailer. The only problem is I can't figure out how the original 12v lights are supposed to work. I have found the old fustat fuse but I don't see any wires out front to hook to the battery. Any help here would be awesome. ...
