 I mean no disrespect to anyone. I only want to discuss this point of debate. It is my ever strengthening feeling that Jesus, or properly Yahshua , was never God. This is a key point in understanding the purpose of the Bible from my prospective. God, or Yahweh as is his name, stated many times that HE is the only god. That there are no others besides him. Yet many like to say the Jesus is God, or God in the flesh. But he is a separate individual. My reading of the Bible does not say that Yahshua is Yahweh ever. There are verse where he Yahshua says, "I and my father are one," but there are also places where it says the a Man and his Wife are one flesh. Does that mean that me and my wife are the same person? I don't think so. I have read every verse of many different versions of the Bible and I still don't think that Yahshua was ever saying he is God(Yahweh), but only stating that he is the son of Yahweh by being the perfect example of what that means. Many people were call son of God. If Jesus was god, than what good does that show us? That a perfect God can be a perfect person? I Yahshua was a human man just like us, than it would mean something be has example. Of course God can be perfect! Ok, since some may are missing the point. If Jesus is the "Son of God" then that would be more the one God, right? PAULO: The verses you quoted proven to be mistranslated into plural.  Agree? Jesus is God, yet seperate from God. When Jesus/God said that gay people should be put to death and that if you work on the sabbath you should be put to death there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with this. When Jesus/God came to earth, he decided to change the law so that gay people and guys that work on the sabbath no longer have to die, but in the time of Moses, it was perfectly okay for Jesus/God to kill anyone for gathering firewood when they are supposed to be resting. If you were unlucky enough to live during that time period and you do not follow the rules, you DESERVED to die. Jesus/God agrees with this. Jesus/God does not agree that it would be okay to kill someone now, but back then in the time of Moses it was okay because it was a different time. Agree? ...
