Also why don't they like one another. I know it's a rivalry of the Empire State and Empire state of the south, but why? Anyways, I perfer Atlanta, I was born and raised in the southern city with an incredible history and amazing sights, where as New Yorkers accents are a little annoying and they can have a bit of an attitude. And they think people in Atlanta are just country slumbags, but that is not true, Atlata a city just like any other, not a town, big diffrence. Places like Savannah and Macon GA are big towns with country accents and lifestyles. The dialects are very diffrent in GA, whereas every New Yorker I hear talk has the same annoying one and they come from all diffrent parts. I do have a few friends from up New York but not many and the ones I am friends with have made Atlanta their home and don't plan on going back so. New York may get more attention, but If I had to choose between the two, Atlanta would be my first pick, no doubt. ...

My cousin and I were recently discussing living in atlanta, and we were saying how boring it really is. Both of us are from the north DC/NYC, and while atlanta maybe less in the living cost; its just flat out boring. I've gotten used to the clubs and all, but beyond that I don't really see anything that's all that. Its hard finding a job paying anything worthwile; and the men well please! Do I need to go there. lol. After school am thinking of going back to NYC or even DC (the real black mecca) lol. Someone told me once if your young and wanna party go to atlanta, but if you wanna be a professional go to NY. Anyone feel the way I do Atl ain't all that!! ...

I am an 18 yr old male, and i was born and raised in Queens,New York, but 3 years ago i moved To Atlanta,Ga, where I'm still residing at the moment. I miss New York alot, because, i like the entertainment, the diversity, and transportation. Everything in Atlanta is kinda spaced out to me, and kinda slower compared to NY, don't get me wrong Atlanta is a beautiful place, especially for the cost of living, and the club scene, but i am young, and love fun, and i feel somewhat trapped in Atlanta. I'm going off to college this year, and planning to move back to NY in september, some people tell me to make the move and others say don't, but i wanna move back to Atlanta when i turn around 22 or if make more money. So i need advice should i make that move back to NY? ...

We're going on Vacation the first week of June. The plan is to leave Indiana on the evening of (Thursday) May 31st. If we leave around 5:00 - we'll probably stop around Chattanooga and get a hotel room. If we leave around 7 AM - we should hit Atlanta around 9 AM - will we miss rush hour traffic? Also, if we can get by with leaving earlier - the plan is to get to Atlanta before checking in to a hotel. This will, of course, mean getting to Atlanta around 11 PM. Am I correct in assuming that the traffic won't be bad at this time? ...

Who Should The Atlanta Hawks pick in the 2007 NBA Draft? The Atlanta Hawks have landed big in the 2007 Draft lottery getting two lottery picks pick #3 and pick #11 Since Atlanta will fallout of the Gren Oden-Kevin Durant race because it will go to a #1 and #2 seed most likely Who Should They Draft for the #3 and #11 Pick Here are some potential draft picks other then Oden and Durant: Al Horford Corey Brewer Yi Jianlian Julian Wright Brandan Wright Joakim Noah Spencer Hawes Roy Hibbert Mike Conley Jr. Jeff Green Al Thornton Acie Law This is one of the strongest drafts in decades which was stated by David Stern... Atlanta Hawks could be a completely differently franchise with these two picks... I seriously think they will have the best future out of all the draft teams because not only will they have the #3 and #11 pick they already have Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, Josh Childress, Shelden Williams, Salim Stodemire ...

Im originally From Nyc and my job relocated me to Atlanta and live in Buckhead. I have been in Atlanta since 2000, and the city has changed quite a bit. Some Positive, some Negative. Me being a single guy, have seen the nightlife drastically decline in Atlanta since the bars now close at 230am. I have some friends that have been pushing me to move to South Beach, and swear that its one of the best cities for nightlife and a single man's dream! I would like to know if there is anyone else that has lived in Atlanta that made a similar move?? Also, would like some feedback from the single guys in Miami and how they like it. I would probably move to a condo in south beach, and would like any advice possible. Thank you in Advance, Mike ...

I am of African American descent and I would like to know what men in Atlanta feel about women of darkskin complexion. I just visited Atlanta for a few days, and I saw alot of people who were coupled with people of there same complexion. I thought it was so odd and it made my stomach turn to know that I will be moving there in a couple of months...this question applies to anyone with there opinion...and who live in Atlanta at the moment...Thanks. P.S.Other than that I LOVE ATLANTA!!! ...

Is Atlanta, GA a very upbeat, trendy city with modern ammenities, or is it more historical with a small town feel? I've been to Atlanta and I think its a beautiful, clean, safe, and friendly city. I am relocating there this summer. I want to purchase a home in a neighborhood that has a nice traditional old downtown area with old mom and pop shops and antique stores. Can you give me some feedback on Atlanta, andall ithas to offer pertaining to what I'm looking for? Thanks! ...

I know Atlanta is a vibrant city but how is it faster than Baltimore. The city is up north compare to Atlanta is comcern and Baltimore is close to major east coast cities I know DC has a faster pace than Bmore. So how is Atlanta is faster? ...

I've visited twice and have enjoyed Atlanta both times. I currently live in South Florida and am tired of the self absorbed people, and fast paced lifestyle. I'm considering moving to Atlanta because it's still in the South, it's still metropolitan but it's different than Florida, which is what I want. I know the cost of living is pretty good, but how is the job market? What places are good to live that aren't too expensive? What's your overall opinion of living in Atlanta and is it a good move? Thanks! ...

How are the single guy to single ratios in south beach on any given night. In Atlanta, it used to be more girls than guys, however that has changed because of all the technical jobs moving into Atlanta. Girls in Atlanta are somewhat desperate, but on average arent very pretty. & thats probably my biggest complaint. In nyc I remember meeting many beautiful women(9's and 10's). Its rare in Atlanta to see a 8.5 or higher. Thats why many of my friends are suggesting south beach. Keep in mind, im moving soley based on nightlife and meeting beautiful single woman! ...
