 im almost 27 years old and im a math teacher for my high school and i am also the dance coach. however, i used to be a model for victorias secret [not the underwear, just thier clothing line] / dancer before i got into teaching. i think im a good teacher, my students respect me and like me [ive been voted best teacher] and i think thats because i understand them and dont treat them like children. anyway, i heard one of the other teachers talking about me, saying that i was a distraction to the students and to certain 'male teachers'. can the school fire me for being 'too pretty'?? my students do excellent in my class, and i cnat really control how i look or how they act. and as for the 'male teachers'....well what can you do?? im already in a good relationship with one of the other math teachers. so should i be intimidated? ...

 I want to know how to bypass the school fire wall so I can get to myspace when it is blocked. I dont want to have to download anything or I dont want to get caugt. So what is the sfest and easyiest way of doing this? ...

 I am a high school math teacher and I have been out 11 days sick through out this school year. All valid excuses - i'm not one to just call in sick just so I can have the day off. We are alotted 13 days each year (plus roll over from previous years) So i'm still with in my time allowed off. Well Tuesday I signed my contract for the 2007-2008 school year and unfortunatly got sick and lost my voice and have been out since then. Thus making it to my 11 days out sick this year. Does anyone know if the school can fire me at the end of the school year for this? Or because I signed my contract for next year, are the obligated to keep me till next June? Any advice will be helpful -- My paranoia is kicking in and I would like some comfort from anything you could possibly think of. To those of you who think I don't know how to read a contract - I do. My only reason for concern is due to the fact that 1. I'm non-tenured and 2. they already let go of 5 teachers this past month already. ...

 mine was a fire in the audtium and the fire chief came we were told to go back in but then were told to get out b/c the school was filled with smoke and then a few more trucks had to come and we were finally allowed to go back in. it was cool but kinda scarey too. also do the kids at your school cheer for the fire dept?at my school they do but cuz they got of class not cuz these people are so brave and they desver to be supported. ...
