 Ok so my mom just got two tickets in the mail for a suppose "red light turn" violation, but this can't be! Why? Because yes i know it's illegal to turn on a red light, BUT, only when theres a sign there that says so am i right? But recently there has been a new law forbidding turning on a red light at all, but the thing is we didn't know about this until today when the cop told us!! do i have a right to argue in court or something that those $100 tickets should be cancelled since we where not aware about the new law and there WAS NO sign and we had always turned on a red light when theres no sign there saying you can't do it, we've done it infront of cops too and they've never said anything until today when we got our first ticket ever by the mail ,with photos and everything, but like i said, if there is no sign alerting us it's illegal, and we weren't aware about the new law, do we have a right to get those tickets canceled? we live in the chicago suburban area, thanks! ohh ok, thanks everybody, to the third answer, check yourself m-o-t-h-er f-u-c-k-e-r you don't know shit, honestly ...

 Recently (while playing Halo 3 on my 360) my screen went white for the most part besides a few blue stripes. I couldn't see a thing so I turned off my xbox. When I turned it back on I got 1 red light on the ring of light and an error message (74). I call xbox support and they want to charge me $100 for repairs as I only have 1 red light not 3. To save myself $100 I want to get 3 red lights so I can get repairs for free. From what I've heard, xbox checks to make sure that the xbox has 3 lights. Can anyone tell me how to get the "Red Ring of Death"? I can not do anything on my xbox other than glare at the error message and my warrenty is expired ...

 if a light flashes at night at an intersection with known red light cameras, does that mean a picture has been taken? a flashing occurred once as i was crossing one intersection. and then again as i was crossing a subsequent intersection. im trying to figure out if it was light from the harbor or light from the red light camera. i hope not, because i swear i did not cross on a red light. the first light i crossed on a yellow. i was following the procession of cars. but it was never red. im so confused. i am a very careful driver. the fact that two pictures were taken worries me. who in their right mind would ever cross two crossways 10 feet of each other on a red light? i think its pretty clear i didnt do that. who would do that? im really worried and irritated. anyway, if anyone could tell me if these cameras have flashes id appreciate it. because if not it must have been the harbor. i have no idea and would like to figure out. thank you for you help i wanted to add, i only started crossing at yellow because cars beep at me when i dont. if i stop at a yellow some cars even intimidate my car. im so annoyed. i hate arguing things like this. plus they will never believe me. im screwed. thank you for the info. the light was flashing so much. it seemed like 5 or 6 times. i was very confused and thought it might be a boat from the harbor or a migraine. i guess ill wait to see this lovely picture in the mail. what can i do? no one will ever believe the light was yellow. the light was definitely green the second light. im just not sure what the heck happened. well, anyway thanks again. ...

 Does anyone realize how dangerous Red Light Cameras really are? Those things are so incerdibly dangerous for motorcycle riders. It is litterally a life or death decision to risk getting a ticket or risk having the driver behind me turn me into a hood ornament. Yeah, so it is their fault if they run into the back of me but that is not going to help me very much if I am dead. Then to make things worse the local govenments tamper with the duration of the yellow light and make it shorter in an effort to catch as many drivers as possible! I actually used to think that red light cameras were a good idea but after almost being rear ended three times now and having to slide to a stop more than once because the guy in front of me locked down his breaks on a light that went from green immediately to red with only a flash of a yellow light I have completely changed my mind. Just do a yahoo search for "red light cameras rear end accidents" and see what you get. What can be done? ...

 This is in regaurds to the State of California and these red light cameras. I know that running a red light is illegal. So is being stoped in an intersection when the light turns red since it's impeding traffic. I know that these cameras can ticket for running the red light and in some instances for speeding. But can these cameras ticket someone for being stopped in the middle of the intersection due to heavy traffic? In other words can they ticket for impeding the flow of traffic? Or are none of them set up for that sort of thing? For a traffic violation like that how much would it cost in Culver City? How much would it cost in Van Nuys? Thanks for your assistance. ...

 I don't think the red light is supposed to stay on like that... Before I only had the green light on and if something was processing, the red light would flicker. I think my cousin was fixing something inside and might have accidentally did something to it. And now the red light just stays on... Help, anyone? And seriously, be nice about this!
