 Right now, Jelena Jankovic is only ranked 5th in the WTA ranking, while Amelie Mauresmo is ranked 4th in the WTA, why is it in the French Open, it's the other way around, Jankovic is the 4th seed while Mauresmo is seeded 5th? ...

 She has the tools physically to do it, but winning a slam takes mental fortitiude, if you will. Ask Federer about that one. Jankovic went on to lose the set 7-5 and ultimately the match.It has become a pattern of late, losing her last 3 finals. I don't see her winning a slam, until she gets that element taken care of.  It's probably the 10th consecutive week that she has been on the tour, right from late April. Doesn't she understand that she will burn herself out if she keeps playing like that?? 30 tournaments a year, and she goes deep into every tournament!!!! She probably hasn't heard of Jelena Dockic..... by the way, I certainly don't like her way of getting to the top. Playing 30 tournaments a year will certainly take her to the top, because she does have the talent to get to the quarters or semis at least. She has barely managed to win about 5-6 titles in these 30 events, which isn't a big achievement at all. On the other hand, look at players like Justine, Amelie, Maria and Serena - they practically play less than half the events than Jelena does but still win almost as many events as she does. It looks like she's in a hurry to get to the top, this mentality certainly won't take her far. ...

 i was expecting abother match between justin and jelena in semi-finals like in french open....the pattern was same you see...serena lost in quater-finals even there ...

 I have heard that Ana and Jelena do not get along together. I want to know why as they both seem like nice people, have great personalitie, are from the same country (Serbia). I mean look Ivanovic and Djokovic get along together but that is because they have known each other since early childhood and basically grew up together. So why don't these two promising young Serbs get along? Actually I did not hear about it in the media. I heard it from forums. Like I said I heard it in tennis forums. Also they are probably forced to be together as they are the top 2 Serbs being ranked in the top 10 and both have a very bright future ahead of them as they are quite young. Good news. I remember why I heard they do not get along together. Surprisingly it is the fact that they are both from the same country and that they should get along together because they both are from Seriba and also they do not know each other that well unlike Ivanovic and Djokovic who know each other very well. People compare it to the relationship Henin and Clijisters had. Still I want to know more as I like them both. (I have answered by own question didn't I.) ...

 She complains about "other players' antics" on court, and doesn't give her opponent any credit... and yet she is the most controversial player in the WTA tour, arguing loudly with the umpire about "incorrect line calls" and celebrating on court when she wins a point as though she'd just gotten engaged. And the post match interviews are just as bad. Shouldn't a player like that be fined? Umpire, sponsors and fans alike don't have to put up with these spoilt players' constant on-court tantrums and crybaby antics -- wah wah wah! ...
