My daughter is about to turn a year, and she has tons of formula left... Well I got her down to 1 bottle of Formula a day, usually at night, and well I fill her sippy cup up with Juice (well half water half juice) and usually it takes her all day to drink it. But if I give her formula she will drink it down quick fast..... The true question is, Could I give her formula in her bottles as drinks, (like to replace the juice I usually give her) and her just drink we will say maybe 3 sippy cups full of formula, plus eat her 3 to 4 meals a day (by meals I mean people/adult foods) Or would this be a formula over load, and make her sick? I have lots of formula left, and I am always worried she never gets enough fluids (seriously it takes her a full day to drink a whole sippy cup of juice..) Or possibly to get her ready for the transfer from Formula to Milk mix half and half milk and formula? This way it will get rid of the rest of the formula, and get her started on milk? For all that will make their comments: To all of you who Breast feed thats great go you your wonderful, and your an amazing person for breast feeding so long, needless to say I did not Breast feed her the whole year, and contrary to what you may believe it does not make me less of a mother for doing so , so please leave the rude comments out, yes your great and I am happy that you breast fed for a year or 3 how ever many, but I didn't and the question does not deserve any criticism for not doing so... and Also, the bottle at night before bed time, She does not get it right at bed time, she gets it before hand and gets her little teeth brushed before bed, I am fully aware of the infant tooth decay, and this is not the case... Thank you and I appreciate it if I get no rude answers by any one that just wants to be hateful... ...

How long is prepared formula good for? The one hour rule that is on the can is that after the baby started eating or after the formula has been mixed? How long is a bottle of mixed formula good for from which the baby has not been eating? I see people with bottles of prepared formula that they carry with them all day. Is that regular powder formula or pre-mixed that does not go bad as fast? I breastfeed and we are starting to supplement with formula and I don?t want to screw it up. ...

A function P matches each integer with its opposite( the integer with the same absolute value, but the opposite sign). A function D matches each integer with its double. A) write formulas for the functions p and d. b) write a formula for the composite function d o p : then compute (p o d)(15) and (d o P)(-12). c. write a formula for the composite function p o d: then compute (p o d)(15) and (p o d)(-12). d) are these two composite functions equal? why? or why now?please explain as easy as posible, with steps if u can,, n also wat odes it mean!! diferent example...a function p matches each integer with its opposite(the integer with the same absolute value, but the oposite sign). a function t matches each integer with the integer that is two greater than the integer.. a write formulas for the functions p and t. b) write a formula for the composite function t o p: then compute (t o P)(15) and (t o p)(-12). c) write the formula for the composite function p o t: then rest below ok let me finish,, then.. compute (p o t) (15) and (p o t)(-12) D) are they equal why or why not, thanxs sopoooo much ...

I live in Central Valley of California and it's already feeling like summer. My baby is 3 months old by the end of this month. He sometimes doesn't finish his formula. He eats about 5oz every 3-4 hours but at least twice a day when I feed him he won't finish his formula. He'll leave about an ounce or so. His bowel movements and everything else is absolutely normal. He's perfectly healthy. My question is, could the heat be causing him to not finish his formula sometimes? When I do give him his formula its served at room temp. Another concern is when summer comes, at how many months is it okay to just give the formula at refridgerated temp? Or how many months does the baby have to be where you can give him the formula at any temp without affecting it's digestive system, etc??? ...

I'm trying to obtain a formula that will accomplish two things: 1. Leave the cell blank if there is a computing error; and 2. Leave the cell blank if the computation results in the negative of another cell. For the first condition, I came up with: =IF(OR(ISERROR(A1-A2), ISERROR(A2-A1))," ",A1-A2) This formula subtracts A2 from A1, and leaves the cell blank if an error would result from subtracting A2 from A1, or vice-versa. For the second condition, I came up with: =IF(OR(A1-A2=-A2, A2-A1=-A1)," ",A1-A2) This formula subtracts A2 from A1, and leaves the cell blank if a value is missing for either A1 or A2. Sometimes in my spreadsheet, I get the formula error. Other times, I get the negative of the other cell. I'm not sure why this happens; that's why I'd like to solve for both conditions in one formula. I've tried many, many times to write a single formula that combines both conditions, with no luck. Any suggestions? ...

I have an excel sheet that I update every week. Each week a new column is added to the sheet, and each row has a formula that tallies up the total over these columns for example in the Y column I have: For row 7 formula is =SUM(D7:X7) For row 8 formula is =SUM(D8:X8) so on , so forth I have 50 rows that I have to update the formula if i add another column. So if last week the formula was in Column Y, this week its in Column Z so the new formula looks like =SUM(D7:Y7) =SUM(D8:Y8) How do I do this more efficiently, by just changing one row's formula and apply it to the other rows? ...

I have a 2 month old son and I have been breastfeeding him and supplementing with Formula off and on. (Enfamil Lipil) He takes to the bottle (formula) VERY well and seems to be content after his formula feeding (infact, seems MORE full and content than after a breastfeeding session) the formula keeps him full longer and he seems more content. My question is: Since I'm giving him formula and he seems to like it better should I discontinue breastmilk? Or is he still getting benefits from my breastmilk even though he only gets breastmilk about half the time?? (I've been supplementing formula for the last 3 weeks) He has had no complications whatsoever! No tummy aches and no constipation. *Basically, should I continue with the breast milk, or should I just strictly give him formula? I plan on switching him to strictly formula at 3 months old. I feel bad switching him to formula, but I've just had a heck of a time with the breastfeeding. I don't enjoy it. He doesn't seem to get as full from breastmilk. And I got Mastitis in my left breast. I think we're both a lot happier with the formula .. ...

not happy over breastfeed and formula...first i been nursing my son for 1 month and sometime when i breastfeed him, he was crying when i breastfeed him for like an half hour or an hour.he is still crying it like he still hungry.for 1 month i still dont get that much milk..i stop breastfeed for few days cause i dont have much milk i always get little and very fed up.. so i decide to give him formula and breastfeed both.now i notice he have a hard time pooing with formula.his formula is isomil advance similac soy, however.yesterday i called the doctor about it, the doctor said try karo light corn syrup with 2 oz water.i fed him and it make my son choke this early morning...i called doctor again and ask them if i can change formula for my son they said i cant change formula and i told them about that karo light corn syrup with 2 oz water that make my son choke.the doctor said try karo light corn syrup in formula but i think it too much sugar for my son.what can i do?? im so fed up! :( what should i do?.. should i call different doctor?.. and can i still change the formula no matter what they said no? they didnt tell me why they said no...and what can i do if he have a hard time pooing?.. any tip?? ty! ...

I think it's time for a rational, mother-only debate on breastfeeding versus formula feeding. "Experts" tell us that one or the other is better for whatever reason, but philosophically, where does formula feeding stand? Here's an example: you are stranded in a flood, the water and electricity is cut off, and you are unable to make up formula for your baby. Do you expect to be rescued first instead of the woman next door who is breastfeeding new twins? Would that be fair? Or, is it OK that women can choose to never even try to breastfeed, for a lifestyle choice - is it OK that very poor women can decide to get free formula at the state's expense, instead of trying to breastfeed? Now I like to think that us women are fair so no rude comments please - just your opinions. BTW I mixed breastfeeding and formula, not by choice, but because my hospital made me when baby didn't take to feeding right away. ...

For example: One cell is this formula: =MID(A12,14,99) Another cell is this formula: =IF(A12>0,"Y","N") How do I make it to where whatever cell reference I used in the "MID" formula (A12 in my example) is automatically reflected in the "IF" formula? If I type in C23 in the "MID" formula, I want the "IF" formula to automatically change to C23 to coincide with the "MID" formula. Let me also say that I am trtying to do this on a large scale and that many cells will be affected...so a simple cut and paste will not work. I would have to do it hundreds of times. ...

I am currently breastfeeding my 2 month old daughter. I introduced her to a soy-based formula with iron in it about three weeks ago. I added a little of rice cereal to the formula for each bottle feeding. I prepared her formula as a substitute for my breastmilk for whenever I took her out to run my erens because on my erens I don't have time to breastfeed her at all. She took well to the soy-based formula with cereal added but now she will not eat it anymore she spits the formula out. She is not allergic to milk she takes to it very well. I just put her on a soy-based formula because I was told it would not give her colic and it was closer to a mother's natural breastmilk I don't know if that's true. Someone please give me some advice. I am going back to work in three weeks and I won't have time to pump milk for her because I work full time. What type of formula would you recommend that's closest to a mother's breastmilk? ...

my baby is 8 months and has now developed a food allergie to his formula. his formula is similac isomil soy formula. my mom told me to give him silk soymilk.  Well my daughter has been drinking Enfamil Gentlease lipil and it is working great for her. But our WIC program here only offers Similac formulas and Similac doesn't have a gentle formula. So, they reccommend I give her Similac lactose free, because the gentlease has low lactose(1/4 of normal milk formula). I am debating If I should try it. I am worried she will have a bad reaction. The enfamil formula is soo expensive. What do you all think?? Would it be better to maybe try the wal mart brand gentle formula?? ...

My 3 month old daughter was just changed from regular formula to soy formula . is soy formula better than the other ? and is it normal for her dirty diapers to be more loose than firm. by the way she was chenaged from formula cos she has a cold and the regular formula would make her cough a lot ...

I would like to know why the volume formula for the sphere is (4/3)*pi*r^3 and why the surface area formula is 4*pi*r^2. I understand why the volume formula contains pi, and radius, and is cubed, but I do not understand why 4/3 must be in the formula. The same goes for the surface area formula. I can understand the pi*r^2, but I do not understand why it is 4 and not another number. I'm sure that both the (4/3) and the 4 were derived some way, but I cannot understand why it is so. I often question formulas like this. ...

My baby it's 4 weeks old. I'm breastfeeding & also feeding him formula (Similac Adv. w/ iron). He latches on the breast and suctions the milk, but he keeps it in his mouth and then spits it out, other times he takes it in. And w/ the formula he only drinks 3- 4 OZ., every 3 hrs., which I think it's not much and sometimes spits it. He gets constipated b/c he's not talking the breastmilk and the formula makes him gassy and fussy. He's been fussy for almost two weeks and stooling ( sometimes normal & othertimes kinda solid) once a day. It's that normal for him to stool once a day before he use to go 3-5 times a day? How come my 4 week old it's not taking the breastmilk? How many onces should a 4 week old infant drink? It's the formula to heavy for him, If so which formula has work for your child if he/she suffers from constipation, gassiness & fussiness? *1st time mom **Going to the Dr., tomorrow. Thanks!!! ...

 1. The formula for iron (3) bromide, is FeBr3 (the 3 is a small subscript)....this formula shows than one formula unit of the compound contains ____ Fe ion(s). 2. An ionic compound composed of at least one polyatomic ion is called a _____ionic compound. ...

Hi, well my SIL this time asked me if I could find her information on "hypoallergenic formulas". You see her baby pediatrician told her to switch formula to hypoallergenic formula, to prevent any allergic the baby could ever have in time. The baby, the doctor said, has no allergic whatsoever. So do you think is safe to give the baby a hypoallergenic formula if he doesn't seem to be allergic? He's 1 month old. ...
