 The twin paradox is a very well-known example to present the theory of relativity. One of twins jumps into a space ship and the other one stays on Earth. Each of the twins moves in relation to each other. The traveler-twin, once back on Earth, is younger than the twin who stayed. What I don't understand is what this aging really means. I DO understand that the watches each of them is wearing show a difference in time. But does the traveler really change BIOLOGICALLY? Does he "look younger" than the other twin? In practice, would the traveler-twin get gray hair later than the other twin? Or does aging in this context mean something else? So my question, shortly put, is: does aging in the context of theory of relativity mean 1)just impression that time is going faster on Earth than in space 2)real changes in biology, real physical aging? The twin who returns back from the space ship journey: does he look exactly as old as the other twin or has he really remained younger? ...

 any physicist from any college or institution to appear on her show, and answer as to whether or not the Twin Towers exploded or imploded. Are you satisfied with the findings of President George Bush and the reports surrounding the 9/11 attacks. Two factors are being considered to support conspiracy theorists. 1. The Towers imploded in the same fashion as any other building being demolished implodes. Could there have been explosives planted in key areas within the Towers to cause maximum damage throughout various points in the Twin Towers, beforehand? Could the collapse of the Twin Towers have come only from the weight or fire from the two planes or could additional explosivers have been planted within the towers to insure the collapse immediately after the planes hit? 2. Was there sufficient heat generated from the attacks by the planes to have melted steel and cause the Twin Towers to collapse?...the history of steel has shown otherwise... ...

 Hello all. I am 28 weeks now, and when we first found out I was pregnant it was twins.. We know because we had an early scan at 6 weeks, and there were both of the sacs. At 10 weeks however one of the twins disappeared. I never really put awhole lot of thought or greif over it because of the surviving fetus, but now the closer I get to my due date, and the closer we get to having his room finished. I find myself wanting to cry because there should be 2 of everything.. I am aware that most twin cases go unknown because ultrasounds arent usually done untill about 12 weeks, but we did know.. Has this ever happened to anyone else, and if so what did you do to help greive over the loss of a twin? ...
