Mr. Cosby recently addressed his brothers and sisters in a speech entitled: "We Can't Blame White People" "They're standing on the corner and they can't speak English.? I can't even talk the way these people talk: Why you ain't, Where you is, What he drive, Where he stay, Where he work, Who you be... And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk.? And then I heard the father talk. Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can't be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living.  It is sad that Bill Cosby is so critical of the inner city communities while giving millions of dollars to black colleges. Why not promote "Hooked on Phonics" and open positive learning centers for afterschool activities. Instead of pointing to the messs, get in there and use his years of experience, financial resources, and Hollywood clout to make a BIG difference. If he can make us eat "Jello Pudding", he can influence inner city families to raise their standards. Lead by example, not criticism. A little love and encouragement, to a child who needs it, goes a long way. ...
