 So today I was playing the piano, and then a random spider suddenly popped up from no where... So i ran for my life trying to find the spray... I think it was some sort of fly spray but it didn't just kill flys... It took me 5 minutes to find it and by the time i got back the spider was gone... I told my friend that, and she believes that the spider could be poisonous. The spider was black with 2 white stripes? It was about 3 cm in length. Anyway i sprayed the back of my piano, but I'm really scared, knowing that there may be a poisonous spider in my house! Anyway I'm from New Zealand,can spiders here kill you? ...

I really HATE Spiders. It does look cool but this is like the third time I see this spider in front of my house and he does walk like a real crab.  I dreamt of a spider this morning coming down from the ceiling toward my head. I turned over to get out of its way. I usually get a book or something to kill the spider but this time I sat and looked at it for a bit and because something was off about it. The brownish-gold spider was wearing blue high-top sneakers (old version) on each foot(?) leg. I realized I was dreaming and looked at my alarm clock that said 9:28 (25 min fast). Since I didn't have to be up for another hour, I turned back toward the spider and it faded away. I flopped back to my usual position and went back to sleep for another hour. What was that all about? I dislike spiders. ...

 My husband and I have just recently moved to Barksdale AFB in Louisiana and I was wondering about some pretty big spiders I have been finding. Or of someone can just tell me about all the spider and weird bugs around here would be great! But the spider I am talking about, the body is about an inch long, it is brown in color, it isn't hairy but a little fuzzy, it's legs are about maybe an inch or a little longer. The wolf spiders around here a pretty big too. Can they make you sick at all or hurt if they bite? Are there any brown recluse or hobo spiders in this area? i have been trying to look it up but I really don't know where to look and I don t seam to be getting anywhere with my search. So I guess my questions are: Can wolf spiders be really large? Can they make you sick or hurt you in any way if they bite? Are there any brown recluse or hobo spiders in this area? And what could that large spider be? I have never seen a spider so big before! I worry about large bugs or ones that are harmful because I have small children. I know the effects of a brown recluse bite or a hobo bite, and I don't want that happening to my children! So if anyone can inform me about all the bugs in the Barksdale AFB, Louisiana area I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much! ...

 My dad says that spiderman is venom and was venom. But i Know that the alien black goo is venom. Yes He did infect Spider-man and became the first true Venom host, BUT the black goo was indeed the first Venom. My dad said that Spider-man WAS the first Venom. I belive that he is wrong, and that Spider-man was never EVER venom, he was a Venom HOST! All of Venoms characters ARE ONLY HOSTS, that is all. All that Venom is, is an alien goo from outer-space, that has ( I think, I'm not exactly sure) developed into a free form alien life symbiote. Whitch intern spawned Carnage, who later spawned Toxin ( ripping off thier own characters ). The whole disccusion is that if Spider-man WAS EVER Venom. Proof-ish is that Venom (in Spider-man 3, goo form ) made the Venom face before he was ever on Spider-man. I say that Spider-man was never Venom. While my dad says that Spider-man was the first Venom. Who is right? ...

 I've seen 6 hobo's spiders in the house (I guess that's what they are), what are the best spider traps? Has anyone tried Eaton Spider & Cricket traps? Is it worth it? I have pets in the house. I'm trying to figure out where the spiders are coming from. I'm thinking it might be the garage or the crawl space. Our garage is attach to the house and there is a door, I left the door open (My cat wanted to go in) Seems like she's always looking at the left side of the garage, few mins later....that's when I saw the spider in the house. When seeing 6 spiders, does that mean the house is infested? This is the mating season for hobo spiders and I heard that they are very aggressive at this time. They do scare me. They run so fast on the walls, floors, eta... I live in Montana (If that helps) ...

 well i have spider-man 1 & 2 of ps1 & spider-man 1-2 & ultimate spider-man game(the game wen u use both venom and spider-man) of ps2. well now spider-man 3 the movie got out and game so probly u use only spider-man in the game right? well wen u finish the game u wont be anyone symbio(probly splled bad its wen he has the black costume on) spider-man i presum so wen u finish could u still wear it if u want or no?  Is it Just me, or are all the spider-man movies lacking action!? I mean come on now the name of the movie is spider-man not Peter-Parker, I think sam raimi is worrying too much about peter parker I mean I know its all neccesary so people understand the story but we get it hes SPIDER-MAN Now can we please have a full movie with alot of action where the movie revolves around SPIDER-MAN WE NEED LONGER AND MORE FREQUENT ACTION SCENES WITH SPIDER-MAN Tobey Sucks as spider-man on top of it that dude from donnie darko would have been great as spidey!  My 13 year old was bit by a spider in August 2006. An ER visit was needed because of severe swelling and fever. Antibiotics were given. 2 days later the sore burst and it oozed so much stuff and there were brown dots in the pus. (yes this is gross) The sore continued to ooze the pus for about 4 days. We found a spider in the house and when I went to catch it with a cup, I touched the spider and instantly about 50-100 baby red spiders went everywhere (it looked freaky). I am assuming that this is the kind of spider that bit her and it is my belief that the spider that bit her laid these spiders in her. Here is why I say this, it is now December and ever since August she has these blisters (look like pimples) that come up on her skin in warm areas (bra line, waist line, etc) they are painful and when she pops them the same pus comes out but no brown spots. The doctor thinks I am crazy but I am convinced that her body is reacting to a foreign body in her blood....any thoughts? ...

 Right now i've seen more spiders than i've ever had to handle before. I live in a little sub urb town about 30 minutes from seattle and there are spiders every where. Usually we just get these outdoor orange with a brown pattern on the back and they only stay outside and they're getting huge! Then were dealing with spiders crawling on our floors. They don't make webs and we think they're more of a predatory spider since they're bites really hurt. I got bit on my toe on this very computer which swelled up pretty big. Is this like a rare event that happens every 10 years or something. Were dealing with big brown spiders that are either hobo spiders or wolf spiders. They're big compared to what i've seen and don't make webs but just climb on the floor and end up in kitchen sinks, ect. I need some information on what kind of spiders these could be like a page with spiders local to the washington area. These things are every where! ...

 A spider bite...please read........... And you thought the brown recluse was bad!!! Three women in North Florida , turned up at hospitals over a 5-day period, all with the same symptoms. Fever, chills, and vomiting, followed by muscular collapse, paralysis, and finally, death. There were no outward signs of trauma. Autopsy results showed toxicity in the blood. These women did not know each other, and seemed to have nothing in common. It was discovered, however, that they had all visited the same Restaurant (Olive Garden) within days of their deaths. The health department descended on the restaurant, shutting it down. The food, water, and air conditioning were all inspected and tested, to no avail. The big break came when a waitress at the restaurant was rushed to the hospital with similar symptoms. She told doctors that she had been on vacation, and had only went to the restaurant to pick up her check. She did not eat or drink while she was there, but had used the restroom. That is when one toxicologist, remembering an article he had read, drove out to the restaurant, went into the restroom, and lifted the toilet seat. Under the seat, out of normal view, was a small spider. The spider was captured and brought back to the lab, where it was determined to be the Two-Striped Telamonia (Telamonia dimidiata), so named because of its reddened flesh color. This spider's venom is extremely toxic, but can take several days to take effect. They live in cold, dark, damp climates, and toilet rims provide just the right atmosphere. Several days later a lawyer from Jacksonville showed up at a hospital emergency room. Before his death, he told the doctor, that he had been away on business, had takena flight from Indonesia, changing planes in Singapore , before returning home. He did not visit (Olive Garden), while there. He did, as did all of the other victims, have what was determined to be a puncture wound, on his right buttock. Investigators discovered that the flight he was on had originated in India The Civilian Aeronautics Board (CAB) ordered an immediate inspection of the toilets of all flights from India , and discovered the Two-Striped Telamonia (Telamonia dimidiata) spider's nests on 4 different planes! It is now believed that these spiders can be anywhere in the country. So please, before you use a public toilet, lift the seat to check for spiders. It can save your life!
