 who agrees with me that tyra banks goes overboard. now, im POSITIVE, every single woman here, is gonna say, TYRA Banks just sticks up for women, but i'll argue that. Tyra Banks, a successful model... and claims that she is a sisterhood woman, my thoughts, she's a male destroyer...  The reason why I've asked this question is because the Model Bombshell that Tyra Banks already is, who now runs her own modeling show, should be the first to know how a Big girl really feel. But to take it so far knowing that she can take the Big girl costume off at the end of the day indicate to me that Tyra Banks could possibly be insecure...Could that be possible?  Hi everyone. Ok well I am doing an influential african american essay and I chose mine to do on Tyra Banks. I purposly chose her because I didn't want to do someone who was dead because I would be bored. I love Tyra and she overcame a bad childhood of people making fun of her and now she is a very successfull person. I want to show my teacher that I can write a kick butt essay on her. Its like one of those 5 paragraph essays and I want to do the first paragraph on her struggle during childhood, the second on her successfull modeling career(first black model to be in sports illustrated) and the last one on how her talk show has influenced many young girls. I do have alot of information but does anyone have an idea of where I can find more information on her childhood? And do you think it was a bad idea of mine to choose her?  I heard about a show that Tyra banks had (on Jan 29th) where she had magick practitioners, satanists, pagans, etc. on her show. As a researcher of such things and spiritualist...this show is of great interest to me. However, as a busy college student who doesn't watch prime time...I didn't have a chance to see the show.  I was watchin the Tyra Banks show and she had the woman from allure on there and she said that if you have dry elbows to put crisco or vegtable shortining on them on then put a sock over it and leave it over night. has anyone tried this? and does it work? also could i do the same thing to my feet? lol sara the same woman on the Tyra show that said to put crisco on the elbows also said NOT to put toothpaste on a zit she said it actually makes it worse solvemaster "crisco" is a brand of vegetable shortening ...
