 Okay, everything seemed in order when I started up a game that took up the whole screen. After I had exited, the icon for my Supreme Commander (game shortcut on desktop) and my AVG 7.5 (aniti-virus shortcut on desktop) are both the same even though the AVG 7.5 should have it's own icon. So what I have is two shortcuts on my desktop that have the same exact icon. This technically isn't doing anything bad, but I'm kind of nitty picky about every little thing and this is driving me insane. Can anybody tell me how I can change the AVG 7.5 icon back to its normal icon? ...

 I have an icon with transparency (.png) I want to use this icon as a custom icon for a Macintosh application. On a Mac you use "get info"on the icon file and "copy" the icon's own icon preview, and paste it into the "get info" window of the application whose icon you want to change. Unfortunately .png files show no icon preview in "get info". The file needs to be in .tif or .psd format. However, when I open this .png in photoshop and save it as a .tif or .psd the icon preview shows the transparent alpha channel as white. Therefore when I open "get info" on this image the icon preview background shows white instead of transparent. When I open the saved image (.psd or .tif) in photoshop it looks fine (transparency is there). What should I do when saving this file so that the icon will show transparency in Mac OS X? ...

 I'm new to Macs (my MBP C2D is 3 weeks old), so please pardon my stupidity! I downloaded an icon set from the Apple website. They were very nice, so I decided to try changing one of my icons. I'm running OSX Tiger, the latest, withMicrosoft Office for Mac 2004 installed, and I didn't like the Excel icon in the dock. So I went through the process of learning how to change icons and....SUCCESS! I changed it. But I would like to know how to change it back again. I've searched high and low to find the Microsoft Office for Mac 2004 icon folder, but I cannot find it. Yes, I've used spotlight. So, where is the icon folder kept? Also, I'd like to know where the Apple default icon folder is hiding too, so that if I change any other icons in the future, I can change them back again. Thank you!!!! ...

 My nephew was playing on my computer and now 3/4 of all the icon pictures on my desktop are reverted back to the generic icons (ie, empty square boxes). How do I get the icon pictures back on the icons? If I click "start" they are all boxes there too, instead of icon pictures. ...
