 I have recently discovered the music of Bob Dylan and The Band. I absolutely love "like a rolling stone" and even more the live "judas" version from the 1966 tour . As for The band I caught some of "The Last Waltz" film and I really enjoyed a lot of the numbers. So basically I am looking to go deeper into realm of these talents and was wondering if anyone could recommend some good CD's to buy. These are some points to consider: To my knowledge I like the vibe of most of what I have heard of The Band ("the weight" and "up on cripple creek" - both of which i enjoy) I have an open mind to most of Bob Dylan's music with the exception of his woodie guthrie/ strum-guitar-while-moaning-like-a-llama earlier folk stuff. I do not want one of those greatest hits cds as I feel you loose the context of the songs and I can "get" the main hits off of Rhapsody 25.
