 So today I was playing the piano, and then a random spider suddenly popped up from no where... So i ran for my life trying to find the spray... I think it was some sort of fly spray but it didn't just kill flys... It took me 5 minutes to find it and by the time i got back the spider was gone... I told my friend that, and she believes that the spider could be poisonous. The spider was black with 2 white stripes? It was about 3 cm in length. Anyway i sprayed the back of my piano, but I'm really scared, knowing that there may be a poisonous spider in my house! Anyway I'm from New Zealand,can spiders here kill you? ...

 I don't gernerally mind spiders. My dad practically keeps them as pets in our backyard. However, If a spiders in found in my bedroom, or anyother place where I sleep and live etc. , I get really upset. Even if killed, I have a hard time relaxing in the room for several weeks and always have the feeling that something is crawlings on me. So my question is, are there things I should know that can help me deal with this fear? What percent of common household spiders bite and are poisionous? When I find one spider, what is the probabillity that there are others in the room? Ive heard that when you kill a spider, more come. It this true? do they eat their dead, or something? Where are the basic places that spiders hang out? Does anyone know some spider facts that make spiders, well, less scary? Please let me know. ...

 Hey everyone... I have a spider plant - the type with the green and white leaves. I repotted it recently, and not long after, a plant started growing toward the edge of the pot. Now there's a plant with 5 leaves that looks like my spider plant, only the leaves are solid green, like the other type of spider plant. My friend speculated that it was just grass from a seed in the soil I used, but I pulled it out for a look, and the roots look exactly like those of spider plants. It's a dumb question, but does anyone know if there is a way to tell if the plant I've been so carefully tending to is a miracle spider plant or just grass? ...

I am beyond petrified of spiders- so doing a google search is out of the ? 2. let me explain as much as i can about them. - we live in western michigan - the spiders are 'thinner' spiders- ie not thick like a wold spider or anything - they almost look like they have dots/bubble things on the ends of each of their legs - they always lay up on the walls in the corners (like where the wall meets the ceiling) - they always seem to build a white colored cacoon type thing around them in the corners - they 'run' really fast - we have them all over our house.. its almost the only kind of spider i ever see in our house (and there are some NASTY ones i find outside). - they look like they have clear-ish colored legs and their bodies appear to have an orangeish tint. - also it almost looks like they have eyes or something sticking out like antanea from head Any help on possibly what type of spider it is?  I keep having this dream where I am laying in bed. I wake up and there is a spider above me and it starts to fall right above my face. As soon as it starts to fall I wake up. It seems so real that I jump out of bed and start looking for this spider. Does anyone know what spider dreams mean?  My husband and I have just recently moved to Barksdale AFB in Louisiana and I was wondering about some pretty big spiders I have been finding. Or of someone can just tell me about all the spider and weird bugs around here would be great! But the spider I am talking about, the body is about an inch long, it is brown in color, it isn't hairy but a little fuzzy, it's legs are about maybe an inch or a little longer. The wolf spiders around here a pretty big too. Can they make you sick at all or hurt if they bite? Are there any brown recluse or hobo spiders in this area? i have been trying to look it up but I really don't know where to look and I don t seam to be getting anywhere with my search. So I guess my questions are: Can wolf spiders be really large? Can they make you sick or hurt you in any way if they bite? Are there any brown recluse or hobo spiders in this area? And what could that large spider be? I have never seen a spider so big before! I worry about large bugs or ones that are harmful because I have small children. I know the effects of a brown recluse bite or a hobo bite, and I don't want that happening to my children! So if anyone can inform me about all the bugs in the Barksdale AFB, Louisiana area I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much! ...

 its kinda weird cos i never had a spider dream before, thats why im curious now.. in my dream, i was walking with my dad to a cabin, we are planning to stay over there, it was in a mountain area.. then i saw many spiders up in the trees, and i feel scared, yes i become scared if i see big spiders (not the small one's). so the spider almost fall on me, then i woke up and thats it.. so i just see many spiders in their web up on the trees while i was walking i saw up in my dream.. what it means?? thanx. ...

 okay so yesterday after i wrapped my hair up in a towel i felt this trickle into my ear, i thought it was just water but when i tried to get some of it out well it wasn't very wet but i didn't think much of it...later in the night i kept feeling like there was a loose piece of earwax or something in my ear and i couldn't get anything...and so around 3 in the morning *couldn't sleep* i felt this warm trickling sort of feeling come out of my right ear and so i start picking at my ear and i end up freaking out and going to the bathroom only nothing was there...i came back to my bed only to find a dead smushed spider on my pillow. disgusting story and my sheets are in the wash... so what i want to know is if there's a way i can get over this...experience?? *terrified of spiders and of all bugs it haaad to be a spider* but oh well since it's out. And how do i tell if it bit me or left a sack of baby spiders waiting to crawl out into the open?? *yes i'm slightly paranoid** ...
