 i've been to spain many times and i don't understand why a lot of people think that spain is flamenco,,,, flamenco is the regional dance of andelucia!!! galicia and asturias have a celtic culture with bagpipes and a whole diferent regional dance....... pais vasco and catalunya has its own..... why do people insist of always mentioning flamenco???? have they ever traveled the country??? by the way.. i'm from the usa and i still know this lol i also get pissed off when people say... you're from america!! do you wear cowboy hats?? how many times a week do you guys eat burger king??? i just hate when people talk without knowing a culture.. i never talk about germany since i never been there ...

 Last night i went to watch a professonal flamenco show, With Sara Baras (shes one of the best ive been told and wow she was AMAZING!!! ) I loved every minute of it and think ive found a new passion in this dance. So i was wondering if it was to late for me to take it up. Im 19 and am now in Espana so thought it would be a great place to start!! I have done many different types of dance for a long time as was hopeing for a furture in musical theatre. At my school we do a flamenco class every week but nothing major, however my teacher wants me to enrole in a "flamenco school" as she thinks i have good potential. I really love to dance and flamenco is now my new love but am i to old to maybe find a caree in it ? (if i have talent ?) Has anyone seen sara baras wat do you think? Any suggestions on other dancers ? i want to learn as much as i can about the flamenco world! ...

 Hello, was just wondering if anyone knew some very famous, good rhythm, blood moving flamenco songs that i can pick up the sheet music for - Ive been self-teaching myself guitar for the past year and a half now and its all been rock, id like to start learning some flamenco. It sounds beautiful and id love to learn it. If anyone could suggest some songs that i can teach myself to learn more of the flamenco style id really apreciate it, thanks! ...

 I'm gonna teach flamenco to young girls ages 4-7 and my flamenco is kind of rusty I haven't danced it in a long time. And I need a website or something to help me teach them basic flamenco steps. Where can I look? I have tried yahoo, google, and AJ search engines. I'm a dancer i've danced everything, ballet, lyrical, jazz, kick, military, flamenco, tap, folklorico, pom, prop, irish, african tribal, hula and alot more. but i just haven't danced it in like a year or two. Like i said i'm rusty. ...

 Years ago we spent all night (it was morning when we left!) in a Flamenco bar in Madrid - - it was great! This July (July 1-7) we'll be in the Estepona/Puerto Banus/Marbella area. I'm sure there are flamenco tourist shows but we'd like to see more of the real thing, in a club or a bar. Any ideas?
