 ok i burned like 100 dvd's, with divx, and i am wondering if its time to buy the divx certified player , and i was wondering, i only imported movies and tv shows directly to divx, and burned than to dvd, but i didnt put the movies and tv shows in divx converter...before burning them to dvd...will the dvd's i burned still play on the divx certified player, if i didnt put the files threw the divx converter ? but the dvd's still work on my computer, but i got a couple dvd's that burned files to, but the dvdrom cant read it, but i did watch it before and now doesnt play.....well it doesnt even read it anymore, but those 2 questions are all i want to know thx in advance .... (1. will files play on divx dvd player without being converted to divx, in DIVX CONVERTER?) (2. why does the divx dvd, cant be read, when it was read before, and has not one scratch, or anything?) ...

 The entire divx bundle is installed...even tryed installing divx web player beta 2. This did not help...Evey time I try to load anything on stage 6 via IE it asks me to install the active x control...so I say okay then it starts to install divx web player...completes....try again to watch a video on stage 6 and get prompted once again to install the active x control....dosent work in firefox ither...have even tryed setting IE seciruty to low and reseting it....tryed removeing divix and reinstalling it....this issues still continues to happen.....was working fine a few days ago...then this just started happening....no new changes to the computyer that I can think of....virus scan and spyware scan has been done as well trying to watch a media file online with DIVX web player, when i downloaded the plugin it stills says i need to down load it even after restart. Also, when i try to play it, it keep on saying 'connecting' and nothing is playing, what?s is wrong? any solution?  I am thinking about getting a DivX certified DVD player which should play DivX files. There are two main types out there: DivX and XviD. I was reading some site on the web and it mentioned that XviD can be played in DivX certified players but there may be some problem or something like that...
