 Hey :o) I've been thinking about getting a fringe for awhile, my origional plan was to get a mohawk/mohekan with a fringe, and while i'm still thinking of that as a potential option, for now I just want to do the fringe thing. I'm not too worried about it ending too short - I know about not pulling it straight down and doing it wet and leaving an extra inch etc, and to be honest i'm not one of those people who is very appearance-orientated, so if it comes out looking pooey... it won't bother me a great deal, i'll probably just clip it back until it grows out! But, could someone give me some tips as to what I should be doing? Like, do you just pull some hair forward and cut it?  The curtains are a multi colored, plaid silk, which are lined and inner-lined. The fringe is a medium weight. The drapes get quite a bit of direct sun, so I am concerned that heat might adversely impact glue. The fringe will run from top to the bottom, along the outer edge. I was told that machine sewing the fringe could cause the edges to bunch up and become crooked. I'm not much of a seamtress, but would give hand sewing a shot if that is better than gluing.  I went to a family hairdresser and she usually cuts my hair ok but ive never really been happy with her.  Does it depend on how your hair reacts on both sides? I know that on one side I am struggling for my hair to stay in place and the other side stays flat (I tried a bit of my long hair where I used the hair which would be cut for a side swept fringe).
