 It sounds a bit funny to me that the15 year old daughter of a well known preacher (who happens to claim not to like hip hop) was at an Akon concert that was exclusively for patrons 18 and up was tricked into a "simulated sexual act" on stage at a club in Trinidad. After the video was released on You Tube and Local Media the father of the girl demanded an investigation as to why his innocent daughter was sexually assaulted. As a result Akon was then banned from travelling to Trinidad and was dropped from his endorsement deal with Virizon Wireless. I'm not defending his actions but I would like to question the situaion itself.  I am not sure if anyone else knows about this but. Akon had a concert at club Zen in Trinidad and had a dance competition with some girls telling them if they won they would get a free trip to Africa. Well there was no trip to Africa because at the end of the competition and a winner was chosen he said that he was "Africa" It turns out that the dance with the winner that Akon had was one of "dry sex" (the dance simulated sex) plus the girl was only fourteen years old. The point is everyone is blaming Akon, of course he had no right to act the way he did but the media makes it sound as if he raped her and the whole scenario was something he forced her to do. So leading to my question.  Akon came out with some "apology" song. From what I have heard he isn't apologizing whatsoever for what he did to that 15 yr old girl and for what he did to that guy. He humped a girl on stage and threw another guy off the stage onto some other patrons. Yes, a 15 yr old should not be allowed in a 21 & up club for a concert and if she is, her gaurdian should be therw ith her. However, this doesn't justify him pulling her on stage and humping her. True, the guy shouldn't have tossed a pretzle or balled up paper at Akon's head, but it didn't injur him, and it's not a justifiable reason for him to throw the guy off the stage and have him land on innocent people. If I was that guy or the people that got landed on, I would definatly sue Akon. I think Akon takes zero responsibility for his actions and should just say "hey, I did it. And I am sorry." Period!
