 Scottie Pippen ? The press love to sing long songs about Jordan made Pippen. However, their songs are missing a few verses. For example. Why did Pippen have his finest seasons without Jordan? In 1994, Pippen averaged 22 ppg, 8.7 rpg, and 5.6 apg. In 1995, Pippen became only the second player in history (Dave Cowens was the first) to lead his team in points, rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals. How could he do this without Jordan to make him better? Furthermore, when deciding to retire, Jordan said over and over that he would not play without Pippen. While recovering from foot surgery in December of 1997, Pippen said that he was not going to play with the Bulls when he was fully recovered. Jordan said that if he had known this, he would not have come back. Why? If Jordan makes everyone so much better, why not fill in Scott Burrell into Pippen?s position (or Toni Kukoc, for that matter), and make another Pippen? Answer: Jordan didn?t make Pippen. Pippen made Pippen. Without Jordan, he is still the dominating defensive player, and he continues to be a complete player. The typical Jordan fan will respond with "how many championships did Pippen win without Jordan?" The answer is zero. Likewise, how many championships did Jordan win without Pippen? Zero. Comparing these two players apart from each is very unfavorable for Jordan. Pippen had a better career record and a better post-season record than Jordan. Pippen's only losing season was his final year in the NBA, when he missed much of the season due to injury and was in a veteran leadership role for the young re-building Bulls. That was the only time in Pippen's career he had a losing record and the only time he missed the playoffs. Jordan played 5 seasons without Pippen. Out of those 5 seasons, he posted 5 losing records, missed the playoffs twice, and was 1-9 in the playoffs. Think about it: Jordan never had a winning record apart from Pippen. Pippen played on many playoff teams in Portland and Houston without Jordan.  Any one ever ask why is it Jordan never won a championship without Pippen? Teams had a fool-proof when dealing with the Bulls pre-Pippen. They let Jordan run and shut down everyone else. Even if Jordan scored 60, the Bulls might still lose. Jordan needed a supporting cast. That was Pippen. Pippen simply made his teammates better. Pippen was the ultimate team player, he could defend, he could score and he sure as hell can pass. Everything Jordan could do, he could match. The only thing Jordan held above him was his explosive scoring. No matter how good Jordan can be, no one can match 5 people. One on one, Jordan is better than Pippen, but on the court Pippen made his teammates take part. Pippen was also the hard-nosed defender that Jordan wasn't always (it's a scandal that he has no award and Jordan does). In fact the strong perimeter and man to man defense that the current Bulls have is carbon copied from him. So I say Pippen. You guys? ...

 Pippen led the Bulls to 6 chips!...even without MJ Pippen led the Bulls to a 55 - 27 record!..and led BJ..and Horace to the best years of there career!...he won in Houston!..and he almost led Portland to the NBA Finals!......Pippen was the true MVP of the Bulls in the 90's.....he's the one who guarded Magic in 91 - 92!...because MJ could'nt!......don't worry Pip!..  Scottie was waaaay OVERRATED! His fans would say that Pippens defense was the key to the Bulls success. They'll go on & tell you a myth by saying that Scottie use to shut down the other teams best player when applying defense. Anyways, here is a list of the best players the Bulls faced. The Bulls faced alot of PF & C, players who were to big for Pippen to guard. So how is it that Pippen always use to shut down the other teams best player? And when he held Magic in the Finals he did a HORRIBLE JOB! Check out Magic's stats in the 91 finals. 18.6 ppg, 12.4 apg, & 8.0 rpg...lol. It look like Magic was still Magic..LMAO! ...

 The 1994 Bulls went and got extra help to fill in MJ. They went and got Toni Kukuc, Steve Ker, & Luc Longley. At the time Kukuc was regarded as a very good player. Phil even selected Kukuc to take the last shot over Pippen. Then the poor leader Pippen was had got jealous and refused to be apart of the play. Despite Pippen not getting involved, the Bulls still won the game with Kukuc's last second shot. The 1994 Bulls was clearly a different team from the 1993 Bulls. MJ didn't have Kukuc & the other guys I mentioned. So to say that Pippen led the same team that MJ did is a lie. .......Anyways, the 1994 Bulls needed to get extra help to get 55 wins & make the playoffs. It wasn't just Pippen's doing. Hey Hoopfan, when MJ retired the Bulls didn't see the PLAYOFFS until 2005, you IDIOT! How about that? Now that's falling apart! ...

 Due to Pippen being overrated & Marion being underrated, I think most people are going to say Pippen....But my pick goes to Marion. Marion is a rare SMALL forward. As a SF Marion averages a double double with points & REBOUNDS, he can create his on plays, he can shoot the 3, he has good defense, and he has nice stats all across the board. Marion & Pippen averages around the same amount of points but Marion out REBOUNDS(the job of a forward) Pippen easily. Here are their career stats: SM's away the titles, awards, & accomplishments.  Can I get an HELL NO! Because MJ's imput is what made it a DYNASTY team, not a championship team that wins 1 or 2 titles and that's it, MJ made it a dynasty team(big difference). See a championship team is a team that won but you'll hardly remember. A dynasty team is a team that won multiple times & people are going to argue that that's the best team in history. Have you ever heard of a superstar amongst stars? Like Michael Jordan being amongst Caron Butler, Lamar Odom, Roy Jones Jr., Ja Rule, Michael Vick, & etc. Well that's what a dynasty is to a championship team. A superstar compared to a star. MJ's imput is what made the Bulls dynasty status, Pippen's & Phil's imput DIDN'T EVEN make the Bulls championship status. Example: If Pippen & Phil put as much imput as MJ did, well in 94 after MJ's 1st retirement they should of dropped from dynasty status to championship status. But without MJ their imput wasn't even NBA CONFENCE FINALS STATUS..LOL. Pippen & Phil got put out the 2nd round! and MJ without Pippen & Phil was during a developing process. A college kid who joined a mans league that's full of vets with tricks that MJ haven't learned. Pippen & Phil without MJ was already past their developing process. So MJ haters it's not even fair to compare that! Smitty, you're a basketball moron! 94 demonstrates what type of team Pippen & Phil made it. They couldn't even make it to the conference finals.  For some reason Kobe fans think that Pippen was irreplacable and Kobe fans think that we care that Jordan had a good teammate. They think saying that Pippen has Jordan balances Kobe being carried by Shaq. This is how simplistic that these Kobe fans really are, whatever comes to mind, they type. Now clearly if Jordan had left the Bulls he would have latched on to another decent team and won championships. Obviously every champion has a sidekick, most champions never have a sidekick as dominant as Shaq take kobe's eggs off of your chin and get the helmet out of your throat kiss your kobe and pippen posters because guess what, they were both second fiddle on title teams and nobody cares about who was #2 ...
