 I have an amputee cat, Tripod. It is her right hind leg that was amputated over one year ago after she had been attacked. (This is how I found her and took her in.) She grows more friendly and loving everyday, she is a great cat. We have mostly tile floors, and she primarily spends her time in one carpeted room of the house. (Her hiding spot is there.) We are remodeling the house and planning on more tile, but I am concerned on if this will have an impact on her longevity or the wear and tear on the one remaining leg. I am all for carpet, mostly concerned about her. I would like her to be as happy as possible all the time and never in any discomfort. (She is not in any pain whatsoever now!) I was also curious if anyone else has had an experience with an amputee pet. Of course, I want her around for years and years, but sometimes worry her little body might not last as long as a non-amputee cat. So, anyone with any experience or knowledge please let me know! Thanks! Thanks so far guys! Just to provide more info, I do not ever let her outside, take her for check ups and all shots to the vet, and her weight is perfect and she maintains a normal weight. She is a Russian Blue, and they have a smaller, athletic build. It is amazing how she centers that leg in the rear and pivots on it, I think she is faster than any of my four legged cats! ...

 When I ask chuch people how come God doesn't answer amputees' prayers, they act like they don't know what I'm talking aobut. Isn't it quite obvious that if an amputee thought an all-powerful God answers prayers, he would pray that his limb be restored? Why is that so hard to understand, church people? Why can't you just admit that God never restores the limbs of amputees, and stop tring to spin it. And don't tell me they can pray for prosthetic limbs. That's rubbish.  It is a question that bugs me. People say they've been helped by God all the time. They say they've been cured of drugs addiction, and pornography addiction. I've even heard people say they've been cured of cancers and other diseases. What about amputees? Nobody gets there legs back. Even if they pray all day every day. But I've never heard of any amputee healed by God. Why not? ...
