 Ok so I wanna get rid of Firefox but then download it again. I tried tweaking to make it go faster and like the article said, it would go faster at first but then get messed up. Now things don't load as fast. Not only that I changed some of the settings myself and don't know which ones I changed. I removed and uninstalled Firefox then I got it back from a disc and it still has the information on there. Is there a way to get the default settings or remove Firefox completely so the next time I install it, it will have the default settings?? ...

 I really like Firefox and prefer it to Safari, and it had been working fine for several months until one random day, when i click on it, it won't open (and the icon won't bounce either). and when i look in the "Finder," I cannot find the application for Firefox. Only a folder entitled firefox. so i start using Safari again, which i don't really like. I decide to reinstall firefox and it works, but it's gone when i turn on the computer the next time. that happened again this time, but instead of going to the site and downloading it, i searched again in the "finder" for firefox, and there were still my firefox 2.0.0.4.dmg files and such, so i just double clicked that and it quickly reloaded. the firefox icon is on the "tray" but who knows if it will be there next time i turn on the computer. what is the deal? why was it doing this? how do i get it to just STAY there without me having to reinstall it or whatever. is this a common problem with macbookss and/or firefox?? th ...

 i previously used firefox then i started using IE7 and i uninstalled firefox.Then i recently downloaded firefox but it went to my previous settings and it had my previously installed add ons.I dont know whether it is my system problem or not but my firefox browser was very slow and this was my main reason for uninstall.But now i want to try firefox 2.0 but i want to install it as i would install a new software not just as an update to the earlier software.  For some reason one day when my nephew was using my computer (he's 19); my Firefox bookmarks all disappeared. He stated that a pop-up came up and asked him some weird question - my guess is that Firefox crashed(?) I'm not sure. Now I can't even add bookmarks from Firefox! This annoys me, because not only all my bookmarks are gone, but now I can't add them again. What should I do? Is anyone good with Firefox?
