I have been looking for an old Kong fu/karate movie that I cant remember the title of. I remember one of the lead characters was the kings (I think) bodyguard and everytime he had to fight he would sling his long ponytail around his neck and proceed to kick butt. At the end of the movie he died standing up while he was fighting; also he always wore white in the movie. This is one those old martial arts movies where the characters had the ability to fly/jump into trees and buildings. If anyone can remember the title of this movie and where I can get it I?d be ever so grateful thanks!

This is an old school kung fu flick probably from the 70s or early 80s.
The only two scenes I remember are:
1) A blue (water) and red (fire) ninja are fighting each other. I remember the blue ninja jump into the water (I believe a river) and he could "swimming"/moving through the water extremely fast. They may have been other ninjas, but I only remember these two.
2) A few monks want to recover an abandon baby but are unable to step on the ground outside so they flip onto each other shoulders to retrieve the baby.
I was really young when I first saw it, so those are the scenes I remember.
I don't think it's "Five Element Ninjas AKA: Chinese Super Ninjas (1982)" movie, because the ninja were in actual ninja suits, but instead of black they were blue and red... but I could be wrong.
It had bad English dubbing as most true old school kung-fu flicks do.
Does anybody know this movie? Please help.

I'm trying to get a Christmas gift for a good friend of mine and he mentioned that he's really into martial arts. I figured I could get him a couple of DVDs in that genre but I really don't know which movies would be a good choice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I know that Buddhism is peaceful and everything but I'm wondering why there seems to be associations between Buddhism and certain martial arts (kung-fu in particular).
Are there methods and stuff that are being applied that are taken from Buddhism? If so can you please list them down. Thank You.
P.S.
I was kinda thinking of posting this in the Martial Arts category but I decided to get a Buddhist perspective first.

What's the difference between Kung Fu and Wushu? I mean the martial arts Kung Fu, not the meaning of it.
On Wikipedia they are listed under the same article, so are they pretty much or almost the same thing?
