 Me and my wife are traveling to China in a couple of months and we wanted to find a bank here in the USA before we go in order to just easily transfer over to China. We are going to Hangzhou, China and my question is what banks do they have there? I want to just open an account here before I leave and then just change addresses so we could just easily transfer over to another currency easily. I would like easy access to my money while we are in china but with security in place as to not to get my money stolen. I know there is a few american banks in china but they are in major cities and I don't know about this certain location. What would you do in this type of situation, would you just wait and open an account at a local Chinese bank there and transfer the money or open an account in america and have the chance of not having easy access to money?  I'm staying in Hangzhou China for three weeks. And I have been told West Lake is about 35min from my hotel, New Century Grand Hotel Hangzhou. address: 818 Middle Shxin Road, Xiaoshan, Hangzhou. I'm looking to see what buses go to West Lake which I could take from my hotel. Also to see how much a taxi would be if I was to hire them all day, if that is possible. Please help, as I have been told all the tourist spots are around the Lake and I would really love to go.
