i want you to say who you think is better all time so far and why. my side of the story is this : how is nadal not better than federer? nadal has a lot of wins against federer and a better record against federer. nadal has the best backhand in the game and is the best tennis player on clay courts ever. i understand federer has more tournaments and tropheys than nadal but please. federer is ranked so many more ranking point higher than nadal and i don't understand why. nadal is the best player in the world. federer almost never beats nadal but the only differences i see between the two is federer has more tropheys and beats more of the crappy people than nadal. i absolutely hate this. to be the best you have to beat the best. i don't see federer having an undefeated record against nadal. nadal is the best and should be number one no doubt in my mind. nadal is still very young and already has half the number of titles as federer does, is it nadal's fault so many crappy people lose to federer in the finals? nadal can beat federer on any surface he is much faster and has way more skill. federer seems lazy and doesn't really move and try to hit it when he has some chances. ...

im sick and tired of federer continually disrespecting rafa!!! last year in the wimbledon final he said rafa had no chance and then when he plays rafa at roland garros federer says he can easily beat rafa...and again federer says after this years wimbledon that rafa had no chance!!! who does this guy think he is?? does he think he is some kind of invincible legend??? does he forget canas whooped his ar.se 2 times and rafa had kicked his ar.se on many occasions...and he says rafa cant play on hard or grass...well the record on hard is 2-2 with rafa and federer!! and rafa nearly nearly beat him on him home turf!!! rafa basically stuffed it up..he should have won!!! and now federer says he is surprised rafa can actually play on grass!! WTF... the arrogance of this man!!! he might act like he is very nice but underneath he thinks he is invincible!!! what an ar.se!! just wait till rafa and djokovic and gasquet etc comes along and gives him some hidings he will never forget!!! i used to like federer but now he is getting co.cky by the second!!! who the hell is he to tell rafa that rafa cant play on grass!!! if rafa cant play on grass and federer took 5 sets to beat rafa....id like to see rafa when he CAN play on grass!!! then we will see roger boy!! have ur lil fun while u can cause when rafa..djokovic...gasquet starts kicking ur ar.se left right and center...then we will see who will be bragging!!! i hope rafa beats that di.ck federer from now on!! i hope federer loses the US open and loses his #1 ranking...just to show that no one is unbeatable including himself!!! the guy thinks he owns tennis!!! just wait a few months swiss boy...just wait!!! ...

During the quarterfinal match between Federer and Robredo at the 2007 French Open, Federer badly lost the second set: 1-6. My question is, why do you think this happened? Here is my theory: After breaking the all-time record for the most consecutive sets won in grand slams, Federer though about it too much, breaking his oncentration. After badly loosing the second set, Federer easily slaughtered Robredo: 6-1, 6-2. What is your guess? ...

Recently, i asked if Federer had a forehand drop shot and i received answers suggesting that he doesnt need it since he has every other shot in the book! I beg to disagree.I am a huge fan of Federer's and for two years i have painfully watched him lose to Rafa at the French open.I have carefully examined his performances on clay against Nadal and i think he needs every shot he can execute to beat him this year.Nadal just told the press at d Indian Wells that his fore hand has improved and he is a much better player now than he was in 2005 when he beat Federer on his way to winning the French.Yes,Federer has a def forehand squash shot but i believe he needs an offensive forehand drop shot too. This is a deadly shot on clay any day.His powerful forehand topspins on slow clay have not hurt d mobile Nadal much.I believe he will need to develop his forehand drop shot to be able to stand a chance against Nadal at the French op this yr.This might just give him the edge which we all so desire. ...

After Sunday's Open Final, Federer told reporters that since Tiger was there watching him, he felt a little pressure to perform. I think by seeing Tiger, he got an extra dose of confidence and belief in himself knowing that he is the player who dominates tennis. So it occured to me, that before, Federer had no one to look at to get motivation and reassurance from. Whereas Nadal has his uncle, Roddick has Connors, etc. Is the absence of someone who inspires Federer's weakness? ...

with the last sunday lost, it seems federer cant get a win on caly against nadal... Federer had small chances but he seems unable to convert it every time he has a oportunity, nerves, or hes getting intimitade?? ...

Do you think having to face Rochus in the first round of Halle had something to do with Federer withdrawing from it? I mean, if he had seen the draw and saw nobody special in his early rounds, I don't think he would have been too afriad of just playing his way into the tournament like he so often has. Remember that Rochus held something like 4 match points in Halle's semifinals against Federer last year. Also, do you think the grass court consecutive match wins streak is a factor in Federer's decision? Or, do you just think Wimbledon was the only thing really on his mind for this decision? ...

Tommy Haas pulled out of Wimbledon due to a stomach muscle tear and Federer got a bye as is in the Quarter-finals. There are a backlog of 3rd round matches and Federer's 3rd round match completed on Friday and he'll only be back on court this Wednesday. Would that 5-day break be a huge advantage for him over his QF opponent who has yet to complete his 3rd round match? Correction, his QF opponent which will be either Tipsarevic or Ferrero, have completed their 3rd round matches and will compete for the QF spot against Federer. ...

I could understand this if Wimbledon properly seeded their tournament, but why is #1 playing #26 in the round of 32? Federer should be seeded to play #32, not a higher seed. Nadal has an easier tournament at #2, based entirely on objective rankings. A properly seeded tournament has the #1 playing #32, #16, #8, #4 and #2, if those seeds win as expected. He would play lower seeds than those if those seeds were upset. This should be his most difficult scenario based on no upsets. Federer is seeded to play #26 (6 places above what he should play), #13 (3 seeds above), #5 (3 seeds above), #3 (seeds above) and #2. Nadal is seeded to play #28, #14, #7, #4 and #1. In other words, Nadal has a lower seed in EVERY round until the final. He should play #31, #15, #7, #3 and #1 in a properly seeded tournament. As a result, Federer will have to play Roddick and Nadal, instead of playing #3 Roddick in the semis, will only have to play the #4 seed. ...

Federer and Canas will meet again, who do you think will come out victorious? Will Federer slaughter Canas for eleminating him in the second round of the Pacific Life Open and snapping his 41 match winning streak. Or can Canas pull another lucky win? ...
