if street racing is so bad why do more teens die each year of drunk driving and drug use and violence, than street racing. Everyone says street racing is so bad, but innocent people are getting killed at the risk of street racing, well ya but innocent people also get killed when its completly on accident, i mean come on so ya there has been a few accidents where someone was being stupid on the freeway and wiped out and killed some innocent people, but a teenager in a gang has a shoot out and kills an innocent person, or a drunk driver crashes and kills an innocent person, or a plane crashes becuase the pilot was tired and kills alot of innocent people, but yet street racing is still the biggest issue. Street racing is my way of hanging out with my freinds and having fun instead of drinking and doing drugs. I love my car and i wouldn't put me or my freinds in risk of any danger when i am racing, we simply do it late at night and on a empty street so what is the harm of street racing. street racing doesn't kill, dumb driving kills. and no street racing isn't dumb driving. ...

Do you think that cops should crack down on illegal street racing, remember the good days when you could go to a street and run the streets all night without worrie, and now you can't even have a good exuast system without every cop in town pull you over. Ya they say well back in the day people never got shot over street racing, but then again i go to the illegal street races every weekened and i have yet to even see a fight or car accident so what is the big deal. Should we ban sports cause every once in a while someone gets hurt or even killed, no so why should we crack down on illegal street racing. ...

I'm interested in buying some Street Fighter games for my brother because he has been nice to me. He LOVES Street Fighter games so I thought why not get him some. Sadly for me I suck at games like these. Anyway, I'm planning on getting him "Street Fighter Anniversary Collection" & "Street Fighter Alpha Anthology" for the Playstation 2. But I also noticed that there's Street Fighter EX3. Is Street Fighter EX3 worth the money and is it a good game? Or do you think "Street Fighter Anniversary Collection" & "Street Fighter Alpha Anthology" is more than enough? Plus, ain't I a nice sister? ^.^ ...

So heres my question and its about street racing. How far does the rabbit borough go? Why do people street race without the consent of themselves knowing how to drive good? Most street racers crash because they don't know how to control their car which then comes in the art of drifting. Simply I'm getting some sort of car either japanese or a german made 2000 bmw m3. Still I plan to go on the track. As well how much can a fine for street racing go for in SoCal and how long do they impound your car for? As well considering I know people street race on desert highways late at night and on desolate canyon roads, mountain passes, etc. ...

If I have a column of data in an excel spreadsheet that includes a street number and street name how can I create a column of just street number and a column of just street name? For example 1 cell contains the words "10 Main Street" how can I execute a function that will give me a column with the "10" and just leave or create a column for the "Main Street". Keep in mind there may be longer numbers like 2100 Main Street or 7A Main Street. ...

Street Sense Roars From 19th to Capture Derby Horse First 2-Year-Old to Win at Churchill Since 1979 By BETH HARRIS AP LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 5) - A mile into the Kentucky Derby, all the other horses were motoring along in fourth gear when Street Sense kicked it into fifth. Then he zeroed in on his last challenger, Hard Spun, went wide, and burned up the final quarter-mile like a dragster. "After that," jockey Calvin Borel said, "it was just a matter of how far he'd win." Street Sense showed plenty of that Saturday by smartly picking his way through traffic, roaring from next-to-last in a 20-horse field to win by 2 lengths. His final move was so powerful, it looked as though he might knock rival Any Given Saturday into the grandstand. "Street Sense came blowing through there and it was like a big old wave," jockey Garrett Gomez said. "He knocked my horse out from under me and knocked him off his feet again. "But that's the Kentucky Derby." The dark bay colt was so commanding that he broke two Derby jinxes and put a couple of guys in the winner's circle late in their careers. "I can't believe it. I can't believe it. This is the toughest race in the world to win," trainer Carl Nafzger said. While it was the 65-year-old Nafzger's second Derby win in three tries, trainer Todd Pletcher, who had a record-tying five horses, was skunked again. He is now 0-for-19 in the Derby. Hard Spun finished second and Curlin, the 5-1 second choice, lost for the first time in his four-race career Imawildandcrazyguy was another half-length back in fourth and Sedgefield was fifth. Circular Quay, coming off an eight-week layoff, was sixth for Pletcher's best finish. ...

I was born in 1983. My generation watched Sesame Street when we were in the age range of about 3-6, so from 1986-1989 or so. Sesame Street played a major role in most of our lives. I know that I watched it five days a week, and I learned a lot from it. It was definitely heavily engrained in my generation's childhood. I know that Sesame Street is still on. But in this day and age of satellite cable television and internet I was wondering if Sesame Street still has the impact on children that it once did. Did today's adolescents/teenagers watch Sesame Street when they were little kids in the 90s? What about today's little kids...are they still watching Sesame Street? I heard in recent years, Elmo has taken over the show and that the second half hour of Sesame Street is now a totally different show called Elmo's World, and that many parents don't like Sesame Street anymore because they think Elmo is a bad influence because he is such a baby and talks in the 3rd person. Is this true? ...

I just moved to the Bronx, and I was curious whether or not there was a website that gave the times and sides of the street when the street cleaning occurs? I know there are signs on the streets but it would be nice to know ahead of time where I can and cannot park and if I need to wake up at 8 to move my car. ...

On July 14 the Wall Street Journal ran an editorial suggesting that the evidence for global warming is weak. In the October 2006 issue of Scientific American, scientists offered a challenge to the Wall Street Journal editorial staff. Here is a quote: ?Many of the world?s leading climate scientists are prepared to meet with the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal and to include in that meeting any climate skeptics that its editorial board wants to invite.? Of course finding climatologists who are skeptical of global warming will be a challenge since virtually 100 percent agree that the evidence is strong. Even reports commissioned by the Bush administration agree with the climatologists. The only report sited by the Wall Street Journal editors is one conducted by three statisticians who have no background in climate science! Do the Wall Street Journal editors have a moral and professional obligation to educate themselves on the scientific data before judging that data? Bottom line: If the Wall Street Journal, or the Bush Administration, or anyone else wants to claim that global warming is not a serious threat, they will have to argue against the entire community of climatologists. If scientists virtually all agree that the evidence is strong, on what basis can newspaper editors, politicians, and random citizens here in Yahoo Answers claim that the evidence is weak? By the way, here is a link to the challenge in Scientific American: Fiddling While the Planet Burns: Will the Wall Street Journal's editorial writers accept a challenge to learn the truth about the science of global climate change? By Jeffrey D. Sachs ?articleID=000D5C47-C124-1509-805C83414B7FFDB0&sc=I100322 ...

Hello, Well I am a student attending Oceana High School in Pacifica California and I am doing an exhibition on Illegal Street Racing and I would like to get some peoples' thoughts and concerns about it. Also I was wondering if any of you guys/girls would allow me to interview you by email so I can ask more deep questions about your experience and deeper thoughts and concerns. But what I want to know is how you feel about street racing. Is it cool, fun, exciting? Is it a pain to have in our country, should be excluded in our country? Street Racing is okay to have because it helps pay the bills? So yeah I just need answers to my question which is to answer how you feel about Street Racing because I just need a lot of point of views from people. So if you may please write your concerns I would be more than happy to listen to your thoughts. ...
