If not, are you a wanna-be thug? If so, does that make you a wanna-be gangster also? If not, what do you have against being a gangster-thug? Is that not "COOL" to you? If not, why not???? Also, if you are a real thug, do you like stealing peoples' treasures? Does it get your little panties wet? Do you like running away with it afterwards, on foot, since thugs can't get cars, or drivers licenses? What about getting shot at by the police officers who know you're just some little thug? Do you like that too? Does it feel nice? Did you steal the computer that you're using right now? If so, did you get shot at while you were stealing it? Also, if you are not a thug, do you think thugs that break into your house and steal your computer should be shot at? Maybe just in their leg and thigh? What if they want your favorite alarm clock and toothpaste too? Should they get shot in their other thigh for those extra items? Your best answer WILL receive my best answer. Have a nice day.

I myself represent Thug Life and I call myself a gangsta only because I lived the lifestyle. I think that a gangsta is a person that gets things done by any means. I think of Thug Life the same way Bone Thug-n-Harmony and Tupac thought of it. What do you think. I've heard some answer and one person said that a thug is someone who comes above the violence and does good in their community. I'm doing that but I get backlash from people who say that I glorify thug life because I talk about. I was influenced by Scarfaxce, Ice Cube and 2Pac so my music is a mix of the thug life style, politics, and things we could have done to avoid it. But like some people say that my music exposes to much of it for people to be able understand a.k.a. the suburbs. I rap about things from teen pregnancy, gangsta life or thug life, relationships with women, sex. Plus I made a lot of songs about black women in particular because I feel black men such as myself need to show black women they are love.
I'm just wondering I'm I too real to be trying to rap. I tell people that like me every man has a soft or vunerable side. I tell people that even though I live that life I like going to college, I love photography and poetry. And a lot of these little young gangsta kids look at it like it's soft. I don't claim to have sold 20,000 kilos even though I did make nice money. But music is my main focus. I've seen more things than the average kid in the hood will ever see by kids these days seem to not respect that. What do you think.

On a recent episode of MTV Cribs, rapper Slim Thug pointed to his obviously Apple laptop and described it as his 'G5.' I was under the impression that Apple never manufactured a G5 laptop. They went from the G4s straight to the Pentiums. Was Slim Thug lying to look cool on the show, or did Steve Jobs secretly commission a G5 model just for the rapper??
The G5 is a processor model of IBM's PowerPC chips. Apple uses the term in marketing to distinguish what processor a computer uses (ie a PowerMac G5 uses a PowerPC G5 processor).
Apple never manufactured a laptop based on the G5 chipset because the processor was too large, used too much power and gave off an enormous amount of heat. Instead, after the G4, Apple introduced the Macbook and Macbook Pro, both based off of Intel chipsets. It would have been nearly impossible, not to mention entirely impractical for someone to ?customize? their laptop with a G5 processor. Intel chipsets are not compatible with IBM chips. So when the rapper claimed to be using a G5, he was either blatantly lying to make his G4 model seem better or he actually was using a Macbook or Macbook Pro and did not realize that they were Intel-based.

I never understood this idea that being a thug is cool!? What the hell? I see that this idea is very accepted among Blacks and Hispanics and White trash mainly. Where does this come from? F**cked up families, low self esteem? I have always thought that being a thug is pretty low. My family always stressed going to college, speaking correctly, to me, that what "being cool" is, being succesful and happy.. I dont see anything cool with selling drugs, gangs, doing crime..since people that choose those things almost always end up in jail or dead..we seem to live in a very f***cked up society(USA)

I would say the Midwest starting with Bone Thug-N-Harmony and other Midwest rappers. Then it went to the West Coast when Tupac came out. Nobody was calling them self Thugs before Bone Thugs and Tupac and the Outlawz. Everything was Gangsta this and Gangsta that. What do you think?

Consider this: We live in an age where the only protection from urban evil is to look even more threatening than the perceived evil - here you have the recipe for thug culture. People want to be thugs because they are afraid of falling prey to them. By that rationale, the only way out would be to introduce a force of which thugs are deeply afraid - something along the lines of "death squads"; it is irrelevant whether or not they actually exist - as long as well-staged newspaper reports exist about their "successful thug eradication programme" - wouldn't that make thugs want to join that squad? And if that "squad" had tough entry requirements and high educational standards, wouldn't they aspire to meet them?

Ok this passed Saturday My friends and I decided to hit the club, (and I'm a Hollister, Abercrombie, clothing type of guy) and I decided to wear these white Pumas that kinda look like Vans and dark jeans with the lap fadded, and a long sleeve black button up shirt, and a white LA dodger's fitted cap! and I got it from all angles, people sed I look like a thug, others say I looked like a pimp, but my girl sed it look and I'm quoting "Cute" ... what do you think?

Everybody wants to be a thug these days. Dumbing down, dumb and dumber, low brow, "gangstas"... the lowest common denominator of mankind, the aggressive slouch, with brows at ankle-height, is what we have today. It was easy to slide into this - as easy as falling for methamphetamine I guess. And it seems to me that this culture will be equally hard to get out of. Are we ever going to experience more noble aspirations in society again? Either way, which way do you think it's going next? Will we see further sagging down (but where would that go - we've already sunk so low) - or are we going to see a new dandy-ism one day, with snide, intellectual arrogance and dashing attire becoming the thing to go for (the Clockwork Orange scenario, if ou will)?
