 I recently read a blog posting regarding desi consultants but I don?t know what a desi consultant is. In the article the author said ?The desi consultants want my wife who has zero knowledge in IT field to say ?Yes? so that they can file H1B visa for her. This sums up how desi consultants work in US? However the article wasn?t clear on what they do, what a H1B visa is or whom they are for or how employers and or "desi consultants" use them / abuse them ect... ...

Indonesia is a complete diff country. n a lot of Indians, especially in US got no or very lil pride. GAURAS need to quit enforsing their ways...we got England outta "our" motherland, but yet we try to be like them?! this gaura in my class made a racial slur, i was readin a report on the moon, n he blurred,"is it in English?". next time i see him, imma go off! ...

 I am going to the north-eastern part of India for the first time to meet husband's family. I would like to bring a gift for the young lady (age 16-17) who works in his parents' home. My husband suggests I should get something special that she wouldn't be able to find in India (and yes, I am aware that in the bigger cities like Mumbai, you can purchase most of the things like we have in the US, but this young lady lives in far from the cities). I want to give her something she'll love, but I just don't know what! Clothing and/or jewellery probably won't work because the tastes are far too different here and there.
