 Rumors are swirling around on the internet saying that Rap mogul Jay-Z has a son by a model he met while shooting his "Big Pimpin" music video in 1998. The model, Shenelle Scott, was reportedly paid $1 million by the star to keep his name off of her son's birth certificate.  I guess you could say this is in response to another thread that had lil wayne or jay-z..but this is the real question: who is the best rapper alive, nas or jay-z..To me, it's only fitting that the best rappers in the game today come from the city "where it all started". Both rappers talented in their own right, jay-z delivering several multi-platinum albums, 15 years in the game and considered by some rap critics to not only be the best rapper alive but the best ever...On to Nas...16 years in the game..his DEBUT album "Illmatic" is considered by many to be the greatest hip hop album of all time..Many rap critics place Nas above Tupac from a lyrical standpoint..These two rappers had their feud..Jay-z released the song "takeover" diss directed at Nas...Nas returned with the song "ether" (ranked with tupac's hit em up as best diss song ever) and in the process claiming the title "King of New York". .so for the question, who is the best rapper alive: Nas or Jay-Z?
