 i dont know if i have a latex allergy.... when i was blowing up latex balloons my throat felt like it was closing, and when i was babysitting i changed the kids diaper and got hives like 5 minutes later (theres latex in diapers), its hard to tell what else i react to bc i get hives just about everyday from all my allergies, so im only aware of those two occasions. i got a blood test and it was negative for latex allergy, but my mom has a latex allergy and her first test was negative. does that sound like a latex allergy??? ...

 I am planning on making a latex Batgirl mask for a costume and I have a few questions. Would a latex colorant make the latex dry to a solid opaque color? I want the mask to be all black. Will I need to paint over it too, or will just the colorant work? When I put the colorant in the latex how much do I use? Will it affect the latex's strength? This is what I will use: &ORDER_ID=508396022 What do I use as a mold release in the plaster mold when I put the latex in? Will Sealube mold release work? I have a problem with the material I got for the gloves and the boots I bought. The material is a bright marigold yellow made of glossy vinyl and the boots are a mustard yellow made of a matte pleather. Is there a way to paint the boots? do you think the latex mask paint will work? Could they also be covered with perma-wet so they are glossy like the gloves? Thanks ...

 in the condo that we bought there is a latex paint on the door moldings.. unfortunately the latex is coming up and leaving spots on the molding that have latex and spots that you can see the previous paint. (it was a bad job by the previous owner, and no primer was used before the latex).. should i just use a product like killz over the old latex paint and paint the entire door molding with the primer first, then paint? or should i remove the latex paint somehow and then primer. thanks !!! ...

 I am going to get a head start on my halloween costume. A couple questions... Can you add a colorant right into the latex? If so what do I use, and how much? Or is it best to paint it? If I paint it, can I just use a latex based paint or something cheap? How much latex should I purchase? I have 2 16 fl oz things or this stuff 1 is best for the mold that I fill with latex. Can I just use Plaster of Paris for the life cast? How much of plaster will I need? Thanks guys! ...
